Size doesn't make the man, the skill and knowledge makes the man.... The whole bigger the man harder They Fall thing was just a psychological game with you and your opponent so you don't overthink just because you're going against a bigger opponent.... The truth is it don't matter if you're a small guy or a big guy, knowledge and skill goes a long way.... I'm a prime example of this as well, I'm 6 ft 4 inch tall and weigh between 223 lbs to 245 lbs, I have knowledge in karate, taekwondo and jiu-jitsu, Plus I'm very fast for my size.... There are many athletes that are like this, there's even a wrestler, Brock Lesnar that also is like this, he's a big guy but very quick for his size...

@Wonderful Mr- Traditional martial arts definitely helps when some untrained jamoke thinks he's tough and picks a fight with you. I practice Taekwondo and Shotokan Karate and I kicked fire out of some wanna be tough guy's face.

However I am interested in learning a lot more martial arts such as Judo, boxing, and Muay Thai. There's one thing I will say I will definitely get my arse kicked on the floor.

@Wonderful Mr In fact, Michael said in street combat,many MA's are completely ineffective. Bruce Lee also said the same. MA is great for CHOREOGRAPHY in the movies, but, useless in street fighting situations. It will always come down to either boxing, kick boxing and muay thai principles for striking, and, jiu jitsu, wrestling and grappling-style principles for submission. Shootfighting techniques work well for street fighting, but, again, these combine the elements just mentioned above.
