No, Jackie Chan would not have beaten Bruce Lee. Jackie Chan is first and foremost an actor, trained mostly in modernised acrobatic Wushu, whereas Bruce Lee was first and foremost a martial artist, trained in Wing Chun and inventor of Jeet Kune Do, who also did acting. Some really tough fighters that trained and sparred with Bruce Lee, including James DeMile, Joe Lewis and Jim Kelly, all say that Bruce Lee was exceptional and that he outclassed them. DeMile have also said that Ed Hart and Jesse Glover were outclassed by Bruce in sparring. And these were not actors, they were fighters. Not saying Bruce Lee was the best ever and also not saying Jackie Chan isn't incredibly skilled at what he's doing, but I'm quite sure that Bruce Lee knew a lot more about true, functional fighting strategy than Jackie Chan, or Jet Li, or anyone in their league.

Bruce lee was a movie martial artist. Yes, against a normal person he would win but against Jackie chan he would lose. Jackie chan is just more athletic and people who say otherwise are ignorant. Watch their movies and how they move. Ask any REAL fighter and they would agree with me
