Michael Johnson Reminds Me So Much Of Jesse Owens. Their Running Sprinter Style Are So Similar: **Unique** And **Superb** In Every Way!!!!!!! GOD GIVEN!!!!!!!!!!!! I Believe **Jesse Owens** Would Shake Hands And Hug **Michael Johnson** And Tell Him: Michael, You Are An **Outstanding Sprinter** Of A Runner.
@LordDelCasa3 жыл бұрын
The upright style of Michael Johnson is truly unique and one in which I would see more sprinters try. It seems counter intuitive to run in this manner but yet, his consistency with times and winning in the 200m and 400m is in the history books.

THAT is an amazing time. For the 1900's!! Tell, me - how much did that South African runner beat Johnson's time? It wasn't much, if I recall... and was 2 and a half decades and so much more technology later. Thanx for the vid. I simply loved the broadcasters!

Has Butch Reynolds ever run against or in a relay with Michael Johnson? It's amazing to see the progression of the 400 record. The South Africa current record's only 3 tenths of a second faster than Reynold's record... THIRTY years later! Such great athletes.

Given that it took Niekerk almost 20 years later to break it, its not impressive. Niekerk has the advantage of modern tracks which are faster, and modern fibres that are lighter.

Imo Michael Johnson is the most impressive sprinter ever. He dominated the hardest sprint the 400M for a decade. Held world records in 200M 400M 4X400M--STILL STANDS Ran sub 44 seconds an incredible 22 times. Nobody else has even done that 10 times. Won the hardest Olympic double to win. The 200M and 400M. The only man to even do it. Won back to back 400M Olympic golds. Again the only man to ever do it. Is the only man to ever be recorded running sub 43 seconds. For his leg of the 1993 world championship 4X400M final. Usain is amazing. But this man Johnson for me is the most impressive sprinter ever.
