I wasn't really impressed considering he ran 9.86 earlier in the meet. Greene was never really a strong relay runner/anchor. Bailey, if you want to see an awesome kick in that era.

And the announcer made a 101 excuses for Great Britain’s loss. The U.S. had a slow/conservative pass on the first handoff, and Mo Greene still made up the difference! So the US and Britain had a couple of things to overcome, but the US was better that year, end of story!❤

Yeah but we're talking about Mo Greene above. We're not talking about Marion Jones and her guilty plea. Until Mo Greene goes under Grand Jury then you have a point. Then you can make that point all you want, and rub it in my face. but Mo Greene isn't in a Grand Jury case, and he wasn't proven Guilty. so until he is Guilty, you have to see him as Innocent no matter what the rumors say. Because there is a chance he is innocent. Remember... Innocent until proven Guilty??
@cmt51597 Жыл бұрын
What a clutch relay by the U.S. here. Sweet redemption. I actually prefer watching Greene to Bolt because it's more of a competition. Honestly, I think Greene has more heart than Bolt. Bolt had a lot of natural advantages that he "rode" on such as his height. And he was a bit cocky. I never heard Bolt thank God like this squad did.

I agree, there isn't enough information to draw the conclusion that Greene was a drug cheat. The only thing we know for certain is that Greene had a $10,000 wire transfer sent to Heredia. Greene says the money was for training equipment for his teammates, while Heredia says it was for performance enhancing drugs. It's Greene's word versus Heredia's. In addition to being a drug dealer ,Heredia, was also a track & field athlete himself, so it's possible that Greene's purchase was for equipment.

People talking about Greene' 'kick'! Be real - the guys was juiced and did not fade as much as the rest. We witnessed something similar with the 'Italian' guy Lamont Marcell Jacobs in the Olympics this year. Absolutely flying in the last 30 metres when the body should slow down. Jacobs hasn't been seen at a meet since. He'll be back to being a 10.2 s sprinter again next year. Or he'll get caught. Everyone know that Greene was on it, so was Chambers and Donovan Bailey. Further back, same could be said for Linford Christie (remember the 'I had ginseng tea' excuse for having pseudoephedrine in his system...). All those guys, Gatlin and host of others like Yohan Blake and Kostas Kederis - they're all cheats.
@EgyptPHA11 жыл бұрын
u using the word a known steroid dealer due to what we know now. The Fact is, whether he knew or not known. You have to prove what Mo Greene knew at the time. All we know Mo Greene stating that he didn't take any drugs. So until you prove he ingested or gave himself a shot, nothing matters. The difference is M. Jones and Trev both admits to taking drugs. That is a big difference.Greene never admits to drugs. We have a different scenario. Just cause they seem the same,dont make them the same

I didn't care for Greene, and i was so surprised to see Jon Drummond acting out when I watched this when it aired.
