There are SO many comments I could make 1. The teams Jordan went against were all so different, all so entertaining, and Jordan's teams had to evolve around him. Scottie and Phil being the only true constants. 2. Jordan's career is a beauty to marvel at. Imagine if they had social media back then? 1 billion followers? 2 billion? 5 billion. He was a worldwide icon. I live in Maine and we talked about him. Someone in Mexico talked about him. People in France talked about him. He game transcended basketball sports and into the culture of the times. An icon a legend 3. God bless whoever compiled this. This is a deep dive into one of the greatest sports careers and timespans an athlete in Sport can dream. Olympic gold. Professional gold. MVPs. A dynasty. History. The GOAT.

Well said. 6 championships in an 8 year span with two 3peats?!?! It is an amazing accomplishment! Then just imagine if Jordan had not retired that first time in the summer of 1993. I'm one who believes that if Jordan had not retired then he would have won 8 straight NBA Championships. Then imagine if the Bulls GM Jerry Krause wasn't dead set on breaking up this Bulls dynasty after the Bulls won their 6th chip in 1998. I believe Jordan and that 98 Bulls team would have gone on to the 1999 NBA Finals and defeated that David Robinson and Tim Duncan led Spurs team winning their 9th NBA Chip in a row. Maybe I'm crazy but I truly believe this and hell I will just say it.....I believe that this Bulls team goes on even farther and meets up with the Shaq and Kobe led Lakers team in both the 2000 and 2001 NBA Finals. Yes... I said it!!! Lol MJ and the Bulls defeat this Laker team in 7 games in 2000 winning their 10th straight NBA Finals!!! The next year in the 2001NBA Finals MJ and his Bulls leave everything they got left on the floor but are finally defeated in an NBA Finals losing to the Shaq and Kobe led Lakers in 6 games. The end of an era in Chicago and a true passing of the torch from MJ over to Kobe Bryant. Michael Jordan finally retires for good in the summer of 2001 having won 10 straight NBA Finals Championships in a row and going to 11 straight NBA Finals. This is what a great dynasty like MJ and the Chicago Bulls deserved. To be able to stay together as a team and the kings of the mountain until someone came along and defeated them in an NBA Finals finally kicking them off that mountain top.

Yo this video is about MJ and what he did in the Finals - which is go 6 for 6... That other guy y'all are talking about is the one who had flaws in his game that's why he was taking Ls In the Finals... Y'all talk about MJ fans but yet y'all are here doing the same thing y'all accuse them of doing. And let's be real, y'all not huge fans of both, (well maybe the original poster is) because if y'all were, you wouldn't have to say anything negative about MJ on a video where he's going 6 for 6.🤷🏽♂️ Yall do it on videos like these to make that other guy's finals runs seem tougher than what MJ had to go through.. See, the difference between MJ's fans and that other guy's fans is that on videos like these, MJ's game speaks for itself, while that other guy hire fans to speak for him. And the ones he don't hire usually lounge around on MJs videos posing as "huge fans" ☻

Truly is crazy how this man’s career is compared to anyone else. Just by the way he and his team’s did it. Stuck with it and worked and worked and persevered. Not only that but how much of a consistency and standard he held his game at. He made sure that he played the way he played to let his team, coaches, GM’s that he was dead a$$ serious. The delusion and maybe the young ignorance of some people but the REAL ONE’S KNOW. We know….. Who is the real and true…..GREATEST OF ALL TIME..….. Another thing I’d like to add to this comment. Just the body languages and demeanors of the players shows how HUNGRY they were to win. When they pan to the losing benches they look absolutely devastated and pissed to be losing. Their minds are racing thinking what they can and gonna do the next game to NOT feel that way. These dudes played with a dam purpose…..

As a MJ fan, I believe his 91 series vs the Lakers was possibly the greatest finals series performance by any player ever!! Played floor general the entire series, some of the greatest passing in a finals series ever! -31Ppg/7Rpg/11.5Apg, 3SPG, 1.5BPG -56/50/85 splits In game 2, had 13 straight field goals finishing that streak with the greatest layup in NBA history. 1993 NBA Finals with 41 PPG was incredible... But I still have this Finals series as his GOAT.

People don't understand that the Bulls faced 7 60 + games won bye the other teams and MJ was 7-2 against 60+win teams. His only losses were to 86-87 I think it is Boston Celtics when MJ had no team and Orlando when MJ came back from baseball with 17 ges left in the season are his only losses to 60+ win teams. The 7 series wins against 60+ winning teams is a record. MJ has the highest playoff score of 63 against that 67 winning team of Boston. MJ is tied for the second highest points in the Finals of 55. He could have broke the record for the Finals but instead gave teammates the shine. Steve and John. MJ so dominant in the 4th quarter he never let a game 7 happen in the finials. MJ was the closest to a human being a God. It's untouchable. Even Kobe told you all this.

I just looked up how many 3 pointers Michael Jordan made in the 6 games of the 1992 NBA Finals. The total was 12. Everybody knows about the shrug game when MJ shot and made six 3 pointers in the first half of game 1 of the 1992 NBA Finals when MJ scored 35 points in that first half alone which still to this day 32 years later stands as an NBA Finals record. What I didn't know or did and just forgot because I watched all of these MJ Finals performances live as a teenager was that during the 1992 regular season MJ made just 26 shots from the 3 point line out of 100 or so attempts throughout that whole season. I was reminded of this after the commentators in this video put up that stat. But this just once again proves to me that Michael Jordan could shoot 3 pointers very well but just chose not too because as he said in an interview after game 1 of the 1992 NBA Finals he did not want to shoot a lot of 3 pointers because he found that when he did it took away from other parts of his game and he didn't want to find himself just standing around at the 3 point line waiting for someone to find him and pass him the ball. He said that wasn't his mentality and playing that way took away from his mentality of attacking down the lane for dunks and layups or dishing the ball off for a teammate to score. MJ making 26 3 pointers in 82 games of the 92 regular season then to go on and make 12 3 pointers in only 6 games played in the 92 Finals is eye opening to me. Michael Jordan as Kevin Durant has stated in a recent interview was a top 10 or top 5 pure shooter of all time and Jordan had he chosen to shoot more 3 pointers would have excelled at doing so just as he excelled with every other part of his game. The man just had no weaknesses.

Even though the '90s was when MJ won all his rings... IMO the greatest of his 51 playoff series performances (3 of top 6) were in the '80s. 1- 88 1st round vs Cavs 2- 91 NBA Finals vs Lakers 3- 86 1st round vs Celtics 4- 93 NBA Finals vs Suns 5- 89 ECSF vs the Knicks 6- 92 1st Round vs Heat

It’s a lot more special when you win the championship championships with the team that drafted you. He scored over 30 a game in an era of very low scoring basketball. LeBron does not average with Jordan averages with a much higher LeBron doesn’t make the people around him better like Jordan did when Jordan left Luke and Bill and Ron Tony even Scotty. Jordan always wanted the ball and crunch time. Can you imagine him passing like LeBron 1 million times? Jordan didn’t have to leave his team so they can amass talent with high draft picks. Kobe and LeBron are better than Jordan at one thing. They’re both better three-point shooters. Jordan can never hit threes like Kobe or even LeBron. Every year that Jordan was in his prime, he won the NBA title. He never lost not even once. That lost against the magic that was not Air Jordan. He needed a whole preseason and training, camp and all that. LeBron has four rings. To get them he had to go join Wade and Bosh. And then come back to Cleveland after they were able to get a lot of Tallant from draft picks and trades. The Lakers was the only year that he won or it wasn’t considered cheating and I understand that if LeBron wasn’t in Miami, they don’t win those championships. I get that Kevin Durant if he didn’t go to Golden State, they don’t win those championships. I know that but he went to a 73 win team. I’m still waiting for his first legit championship. Stephen Curry his first championship doesn’t count Cleveland had no Kyrie Irving no Kevin Love. For number two and number three he needed Kevin Duran Duran, Duran Duran, Durant. Number four was 100% all him. He finally got his first and only legit ring. There’s a rings and there are legit rings. Jordan six rings were all so legit and so very special. And if he never retired, and he played three seasons more the two seasons in the middle and then one more season after the last year, I think it’s like a one percent chance that he doesn’t win a championship in one of those three years. And I think there’s an over 50% chance that he wins two of those three years. The tank was empty. They left at the perfect time they would not have won next year. It just sucks that we never got to see the Shaq Kobe Lakers versus the Bulls in the finals
