The best lineup of any era. Feel free to contradict any holes you might see in the system. But I've been using this lineup in my 2K simulation environment. Center - Wilt "The Big Dipper" Chamberlain :: Rebounding Scoring Machine, Elite Paint Protector, and led the league in assists as a Center (first and only player to do that). Athleticism is off the charts. And, an underrated Basketball IQ PF - Tim "The Big Fundamental" Duncan :: All - Around Superstar, will not hurt your offense or defense, incredible coordination and perception of the court, when in the high post to paint, nearly unguardable, and can play within the schemes of a team. SF - LeBron "The King" James :: Another All - Around Superstar. Bit of a liability on defense although he can guard 1-5 if he chooses to, but compensates immensely with his offensive prowess. High basketball IQ, can be the focal point of an offense yet can also facilitate for others. SG - Michael "The GOAT" Jordan :: One of a Kind player. Competitor, Leader, Clutch. MVP and DPOY in the same Season. Need I say more? PG - Stephen "The Baby Faced Assassin" Curry :: Offensive Juggernaut, Sniper, Spreads the floor and warps entire defenses just by crossing half court. Is underrated in other facets of the game (once led the league in steals, a top 10 assist man, AND a top 20 rebounder among PGs) His defense isn't so bad, he contests and has above average lateral quickness. Coaching System I'd have to go with a Triangle - Motion - Off-Ball Movement Scheme where everyone gets a touch and there's constant movement. Actually Wilt can spot up at 15-18 feet like a Lamarcus Aldridge. And with Curry spacing the floor with his shooting threat, passing and cutting lanes become more available for LBJ and MJ. They can also Feed The Post for Timmy and Wilt and they have the awareness to kick out when the defense doubles. Defense is basically a Man - to - Man that's letting the other team shoot deep twos to contested threes. As for the coach, no disrespect to Phil or Popovich, but I want Red Auerbach to be my coach. Because although the system I input is a halfcourt scheme, Red can utilise that AND can also mold that into a Run - and - Gun Offense.

There’s literally no spacing. Defenses in the modern era are too smart to allow you to play 4 non shooters. They’ll just zone up on you and double off lebron or Jordan every time when shaq or duncan has ball

I don't think you can invest in switching from a 3-2 high zone knowing Duncan and Wilt are in the lane, but you can't also play 2-3 when you have two dribble penetration players in LeBron and Jordan. And whenever the D collapses on either of them, it gives a lot more space for Curry on the outside. You can also overload a zone, by making one defender have no one to guard. Then again, I understand that you can outsmart offenses with a solid zone, but I don't think it won't be that much effective when the zone is way too high up. Picking up Curry at 20-30 ft helps in warping the zone and they cannot pull a box-in-one because literally everyone can take advantage of that

There's a reason why Stephen Curry is revered as much as he is. There was no system before Steph Curry. He created that Golden State offense in 2013 when they shipped Monta Ellis out of town the year before. Steve Kerr simply provided the necessary tools for Curry (installing a motion offense that shifted him off-ball more) to better succeed. He already had the 3-point record in 2013, a full 2 years before Kerr took over. He ran with Jarrett Jack in 2013 & a young 3rd year Klay Thompson in 2014. People act like Golden State suddenly got good in 2015, when in reality they were contending in the playoffs in 2013 and 2014. If Curry didn't have KD, Golden State might not have won the last 2 titles with Curry alone, but Golden State would've definitely been right there in the WCF or Finals. The only player that's ever given Curry trouble has been LeBron James. He's beaten KD, Russ, Harden, and all his Western Conference peers multiple times without the help of KD.

The way Kobe performed in All-Star games, he shouldn't be overlooked. They say there is no defense in All-Star games but everyone remembers Kobe blocking MJ's shot, the way he played Lebron and shut him down. And don't get me started on the offensive end. People are saying you don't need Kobe if you have MJ, but how nice would it be to have two straight up killers in your lineup. Two people that you have to double team, but can't.
