If Jordan played in this Era, he would average over 40pts a game! Easily! I heard you call for a flagrant foul earlier in the video. Flagrant foul? What is that? They didn't have flagrant fouls back then. Now a days, centers are shooting 3's instead of protecting the basket. In those clips, Jordan was BAMMING on 7 footers. LeBron didn't want none of Carl Malone, Anthony Mason, Alonso Morning, the X-Man, Xavier Daniel's! They would have put LeBron flat on his ass, walked over his body, and kept right on playing while LeBron is BEGGING the refs for a foul! Different game, and different rules back then. I'll say this. A whole lot of players Jordan went against are Hall of Famers. Too many to count. How many HOF'S has LeBron played against? I REST MY CASE! MIC DROP!

Here's a unbiased life tip, if you can absorb it, detached from your ego,aka, your image of your perfect self(which we all have) because "wisdom is begotten from lessons we have the courage to detach from ego, and analyze objectively. " That said, ya your analysis about what you would have thought or done was derived on your percieving that reality in the future tense, rather than integrating yourself, at your size, at the intellectual level of that era, and then determining the probability of you doing what you claim, in that context. Your basically trying to say the equivalent of, Steph Curry could never hit 3 Pointers on me........ your unaware, of the context of the timeline in which your comparison of judgement breaks down in terms of logical reasoning. It's delusional, and know this, Jordan played to the best of his era, he could and would have adjusted whatever way was needed, in any era, to become a leader, and win. His limits, which were none, were only chosen because they were not as important at others at the time. I almost didn't make sense right there, but I did it you think about it rhetorically. When I was growing up it was the young and the restless - now it's the young and the ignorant. It's obvious you're way too young to have seen Wilt so I'll tell you a little about him. He was dubbed The Gentle Giant cause his game (60% of his shots were fadeaways) and psyche was Vagisil cream soft. So many of his teammates said if he was nasty as Shaq's feet they would have won more chips. Speaking of which, he was 2 for 4 in NBA Finals. He averaged 30 ppg for his career but when the lights got the brightest (NBA Finals) he only averaged 18 ppg. Can't be in GOAT convo when you shrink, and drastically on the biggest stage. He was the biggest cat on the hardwood but his mental was Massengill - puro pussy. He detested contact in the low-blocks. Phil Jackson, who was only 6'9 and flag pole scrawny said all you had to do was put a forearm to his chest and it would impede his progress. The guy was 7'1 275 lb. and he was petrified of someone that was only 6'7 245 lbs. (Wes Unseld). He thought Wes was too mean and played too physical.

What kind of GOAT is asked to eliminate his greatest asset just to get wins? No GOAT is ever asked to become a gloried role player for the team. Plus, my pet peeve is you can't be a GOAT if you can't hit FT's. Wilt was a horrific FT shooter...that's too much liability at the end of ball games to put it in his hands. They just weren't smart enough to Hack-a-Wilt back then...or by the time his teams were contenders, he wasn't getting the ball in crunch time anyway. Which also dismisses you from GOAT status, can't get you the ball when it matters most. Like you said, you can't nosedive in the playoffs and be called the GOAT. Most who think he is the GOAT go almost exclusively off of his first 7 regular season stats.

David Thompson was Jordan's idol growing up in North Carolina. That's why he picked him to induct him into the hall of fame. Thankfully Jordan decided to go to David Thompson's rival team in college the UNC Tar Heels! I'm sure Dr. J was also a favorite of his though.

So I haven’t seen that dunk from Dr. J. Yes, I have. He did it at the first dunk contest in Denver in 76. He didn’t cup it, but you’re right, it’s the same dunk. Good call. I was thinking of the dunk in the Finals on Coop. Great call by Chic Hearn by the way.

Young people are delusional. I see why they think Lebron is the goat.. smh

Hahahahahaha lebron couldnt do half of what we are witnessing in this video. The foot work and handles. With the mid range jumper. And I won't even compare the fisinhing at the rim. Yes Lebron can dunk. But without the ups and finesse. Hahahahaha that comments on Lebron attempting anything back in the day like what MJ did is hilarious. Lebron falls and flops all over the court with a simple graze. He wouldnt of been the same player we've seen over his career back then. But happy to see young people watching the Goat at work. I was lucky enough to watch all Mj games real time. Was a honor to watch perfection on the court.

Playing against MJ, players were shook... why? Imagine a dude that can score 40, 50, 60 a night... he was a dog on defense, with arguably more drive than Kobe. I believe it when all these players say (AI, T-Mac, Lebron etc)... Jordan has an aura around him that was like no one else. #goat
@bebomac53 жыл бұрын
This child is clearly confused, misguided, and uninformed. Jordan is the greatest ever. Second place is not close. Also, in the 80’s and 90’s Lebron would not be able to score as easily as he does now.

Craziest is that 70% of these dunks and layups were against 7ft guys. Including Ewing, Mourning, Hakeem, Bol, Robinson, Laimbeer. By the way, check out MJ defense highlights. Ain't no way you don't consider him as the goat after that video

If you don't like Michael Jordan, and you think LeBron James is better. Then you don't have to put Michael Jordan in your video. Only do LeBron James instead. Make only videos about LeBron James and show all his highlights over his career and let people react to it. If you still end up putting or talking about Michael Jordan then we know what's up.

90s bball was a far more aggressive, drive to the basket kind of game. Jordan turned the game into a guards league instead of a Center/forward league. The man helped Nike create an Empire, defined a generation, won 3 titles in a row, retired, and then came back after 2 years away and won 3 more. And these titles were won in a time that the league was PACKED with talented teams on both East and West. Try again.. P.s. YES...he came in from the 3 point line as Scottie shot it..

Bill Russ was clearly thought of as the greatest before Kareem and Magic, Kareem or Magic arguably took the title. Really unfair to Bill as all he did was win and lead his team to titles. Back to back state championships, back to back college titles, won the chip the first year in the NBA,won the chip his last year in the NBA and 9 inbetween.

Agreed. People love to talk about how Russell's NBA teams were always the most talented. Well how does that explain all his OTHER non-NBA championships ? 😂

MJ is the GOAT, anyone that not only watches but then looks at the stats can clearly see it. Lebron depends on his height and size with most of his shots percent wise within 3 ft, where MJ was so athletic and fast they're everywhere, then there is the defense comparison and that isn't even close.
@joepluff30233 жыл бұрын

Observations: 1. Jordan is toying all the NBA players 2. Posterizing even the hall of famers 3. He is making the NBA his playground 4. He doesn’t just want to dunk the ball but showing the artistry of how the ball put into the basket 5. He is showing all his moves in poetry motion 6. No effort is being wasted 7. His legacy is still can be seen today and He is with us through current NBA style of play. Step back, crossovers, in your face jam, jersey style , Air Jordan shoes etc etc 8. No time being wasted. He calculated everything as well as his perfection. 9. His work ethics as never give up attitude and his unending hustle. 10. Love for the game even returning from retirement. *it is good to see Jordan making his moves and he can attract multiple defenders unlike Lebron who is so boring as hell.

The only people qualified to compare Lebron and MJ are people who have lived to see both of them play. You will not find ONE SINGLE PERSON who has seen them BOTH play, that says Lebron is as good as Jordan. Not ONE..SINGLE…PERSON. That says everything you need to know right there. Anyway, modern analysts agree that with the extra space and easier foul calls of today’s game, Jordan would average at least 40 in today’s game, maybe more.

If Ewing was playing today... He would be the best Center in the League. The NBA purposely destroyed the Center position in favor of the more scoring. If Lebron James played in the 80s or 90s, he probably be top 3 small forward! Behind Bird and probably tied with Pippen. James is inconsistent on defense and is pretty soft in regards of the 80's era. As for Wilt... there was only 8-10 teams in the league when he started his career.
@Msmoove3 жыл бұрын
Buddy lebrons 37 and still putting up better numbers than bird and pip and players like Rudy gobert would give Ewing the work
@cobrachannel1002 жыл бұрын
@@Msmoove Sorry dude, but those numbers are empty calories and inflated as hell. It is context. Man, his record is trash. So what good do those numbers do? He has AD, Westbrick, and Carmelo to name a few, and cant even have a better record than Kawii and PG13 less Clippers? The pace of the league is crazy these days and nobody plays D, spacing is like being in a park. What are u watching? Do you see how MJ has to always meet a few players in the lane? Also, when MJ was dropping 30ppg in the 90s, the average score was in the mid 80s, low 90s at best. Now, you have averages in 120s-130s. When LA plays and Lebron scores those points that you are boasting here, the score is like in 140s. You need to know how to read those numbers young guy.
