I remember 1995 as well. To me it was the huge shock that when he took off his warmup, we saw the #45! And I was even more shocked when he switched back to 23 later in the playoffs against the Orlando Magic.

That Pacers game when he returned was a Sunday afternoon game NBA on NBC! I remember it like it was yesterday. I was at church and ended up missing almost the entire first half. I was trying to rush my mom home because Jordan was back. I remember that Celtic game with the fake handoff and the pass to Pippen for the layup. I watched that game on WGN later on during that week. That Hawks game where hit that game winner and Johnny Red Kerr said he is now back, I watched that entire game on WGN is that following Saturday night. That double nickel game against the Knicks was the next game I remember watching. I watched that entire game it was either on TNT or TBS I can’t remember. Such a great time in my life!!!

18 months out came back still best by a mile.. legs wernt there yet understandably, but amazing first 5 games.. had a few game winning g shots which was crazy!! Yes he said Pip was being selfish, or Pip didnt show good leadership when sitting out that play against the Knicks in the ’94 playoffs. MJ was keeping it real on those but he always gave Pip his props!!! First person he named in his Hall of Fame speech was Scottie Pippen!!!!

Your friends, family, commercials, local news, national news, even the president was talking about it! I definitely agree with your final analysis on this video bro. MJ wasn't nothing like himself in the comeback number 45 era, which anyone can understand when you take18 months off to play another sport like baseball, and no basketball yikes! Mentally, physically and emotionally it wasn't him, he was just a shell of himself. I think the greatest of MJ made him look good even though he wasn't the same in that brief season come back season. Oh but those last 3 chips was nothing short of incredible, holla💯
