By far and away, the best part was when Kenny Anderson and Mark Jackson, shut down all the BS narratives, that MJ lost in the first round, who btw, the other guy just threw it out, without any context, plus the other ridiculous argument that MJ didn't have a left hand, that beautiful change of hand layup against the Lakers that one alone, is enough evidence to showcase that MJ had a left hand! I dare anybody from today's era to pull that move in midair, after making 12 consecutive field goals (that layup was the 13 consecutive field goal, in a blowout Bulls victory, in the NBA 91 finals)! I bet that Michael Jordan musta scored like 10,000 points on left-handed layups, reverse, and whatnot, and probably another 5,000 points driving left and pulling up for a jump shot, the dude had the total package! I was born in 1977, and I fell in love with the game of basketball somewhere in the mid-80s, so basically, I witnessed all of Michael Jordan's career, and started bringing up stupid arguments like he didn't have a left hand, we done with the 90s, in the words of Mr. T "I pity the fool!"

8:13 "Bill Russell is over there counting rings..." I will never leave the Championship GOAT out of this or any other similar conversations. Russell might not be the same GOAT'ed individual superstar player as Michael Jordan, Kareem Abdul-Jabar, LeBron James, or his nemesis Wilt Chamberlain - but Russell was the perfect team player that allowed the Celtics other stars to shine and he directly contributed to the Celtics winning 11 NBA Championships during his 13 seasons in Boston • MJ will always be my "GOAT" because of that 6 for 6 championship record, his all around gsme and abilities, and his determined "drive" (but that "drive" to win at all costs is his double edged sword). I only saw the last couple of years of Kareem and Dr J, so I know they were among the greatest, but I would still pick MJ. The way Wilt changed parts of the game was truly astounding - the NBA widened the lane, "banned" dunking for a couple of seasons, let fouls go uncalled on him, just to slow down his scoring and court dominance - but Wilt won so few championships because he had to face Russell and the Celtics (same problem his eventual teammate Jerry West ran into). I will never forget the dignified humanity, wit and wisdom of Bill Russell. I advise all readers here to just watch a couple of his games as a Celtic, see a few of Bill's in depth interviews, and just listen to his basketball knowledge when he did commentary for NBA game broadcasts.

None of these guys truly respect James if you ask them off the record, nearly guaranteed. Whatever they'll tell the media is just to stay gentlemanly, but for sure all of them only see him as a fake great. Steph Curry has a better spot and much more respect at that table in my opinion. When they say 6-0, they are correct. He didn’t lose. But they are referring to the finals. He didn’t lose in the finals, for every time he reached the Finals. Which was 6 times.

everyone forgets about the MAMBA.... is above James so it cant be JORDAN and then LeBron

Listen to the guys that played and guarded MJ not to the ones who only seen him play in youtube.

It is hard to find a player who is better on D than Jordan......becouse there in none It is impossible to find a player who is better than Jordan on Ofence......In my opinion Kobe and A.I. were as close as a human can get but still not even close in a long term comparing. So having that in mind .....MJ THE GOAT.......is the best ever who played by farr.....end of story.

Jordan is the greatest, LeBron is a douche and definitely not truly a clutch player

Jordan lost when he came in the NBA because there were some serious NBA organizations with superstars like Larry Bird and Isiah Thomas. But once the pieces were put together around Jordan all bets were off. Still Jordan had to wait 5 seasons for Bulls management to get it right.

LeBron should of never been in the conversation, LeFraud was the NBA's hope to bring in money and views.

It’s not a problem what Lebron did by leaving Cleveland. You don’t have to stay where you don’t want to be. We talking about Lebron fans always saying Jordan fans want to erase Jordan 7 yrs of non winning titles. Jordan was winning everything else but he couldn’t win a championship. Nothing wrong with that.

But on the biggest stage, he came through with flying colors. LeBron can’t say that no one else can say on the biggest stage they always came through.

The MJ vs Lebron discussion is totally inappropriate. For number 2, Wilt Chamberlain must be discussed. It is the 2nd place of all time in PPG, the 1st place in RPG and BPG. In the last two, he is far above everyone, except Bill Russel.

Ya'll be tripping on this Jordan he played about 14 years so I don't recall him winning every year but people talk about him like he did
@kelvinrussell63185 ай бұрын
They talk about him cause once he got there he didn't lose.... you can't talk about someone who got there but lost more than he won makes no sense 😂
He went from November 1990 to June 1998 (when he won the title) without ever losing three games in a row. In games during the second three-peat where either Rodman or Pippen did not play, the Bulls record was 69-21 (76.67%.). In those three seasons, Jordan didn't miss a single game. MJ was the only constant. In three years, their W-L without Rodman was 38 - 9 and without Pippen was 31-12. www.statmuse.com/nba/ask?q=bulls+record+without+rodman+between+1995-96+to+1997-98 www.statmuse.com/nba/ask?q=bulls+record+without+pippen+between+1995-96+to+1997-98 And Kukoc? The Bulls had a 25-9 record without Toni Kukoc between the 1995-96 and 1997-98 seasons. www.statmuse.com/nba/ask?q=bulls+record+without+kukoc+between+1995-96+to+1997-98 In sum, they were 94 - 30 in games during that second three-peat where either Rodman, Pippen or Kukoc did not play - 75.8%

Jordan played with the Bulls from 84-93. Then 94-98. He missed 64 GAMES in his second season. He basically played less than 12 seasons with the Bulls, considering his comeback in '94 and his 2nd season. He won the Finals in 50% of his Bulls career, going 6-0. Where is Lebron? Around 20%? In a much softer league.

No all time player won every year so EVERY player is in the same boat there. We have to talk about them as far as their skills, accomplishments, stats, accolades, league domination, leadership, clutch-ness, will-to-win etc. It's the complete package and not one single aspect. MJ still tops them all.
