People don’t forget the Yankee have offered Soto about 40-50 million per year, he didn’t accept, he not worth it .Keep in mind, the Yankees have three holes they need to fill, which is first base, second base, ace pitcher and reliever. Yankees can’t allocate all their money 💰 to Soto. A good first baseman is Christian Walker or Carlos Santana. . Get Willie Adamas and move Chisholm to second base. Get ace pitcher Corbin Burnes or Max Fried or reliever Scott Tanner

@ the Sox are in the AL East. The only worry is that the MLB realigns into an East/West conference which would make the Mets a regular season competitor. Although Yankees, Phillies, Red Sox, Mets playoff match ups are a dream scenario

I think Juan was a Boston fan growing up, his friends and family are mostly Red Sox fans, and I think Soto has always known he's going to Boston. He is just driving up the price as much as possible right now. Just my feeling.

As a Yankees fan, I just want to Juan Soto to stay away from Boston, as a NY Giants fan I already lost my former favorite player (Saquon Barkley) to the Philadelphia Eagles. I just hope the same thing dosent happen here but I don't know Im nervous.

to me it's going to come down to Boston and the two new york teams i beleive that and ultimately he's going to go where the most money is. i don't see any discounts he's not doing deferrals either soto is going to get all of his money at once.

If Soto signs with the Sox it means the Yankees will have to deal with him for a decade+ If Soto signs with the Mets it will shatter the already fragile egos of Yankee fans knowing that players will choose the Mets over them, even teams that already played on the Yankees

to me Soto to the red sox is legitimate not because of reports but their owner knows he's put a losing team on the field for a few seasons now. the red sox haven't spent like they use too so now is the time to act and get the biggest fish out there and that's Soto. the red sox have the prospects to add talent too and they could spend a little extra if they do land Soto to put together a team in 25 that can compete and win.

@@etamommy you don’t hire Boras to settle for second best. He’s been with Soto since he was a teenager. This is the off-season they’ve been dreaming and waiting for. Money will be the ultimate reason, hence why he gave nothing away during the World Series defeat injury. Soto, and as importantly Boras, wants to get paid, period.

Soto to Sox would hurt way more. Mets getting him would suck, but I'd get over it pretty quick. As long as Mets don't beat Yanks in World Series I am good. I like to see all NY teams do well. Mike and Don overplay this Yanks Mets hating thing. In all my years I have met exactly one person who was a Met fan that hated the Yanks.
