@Conway Twitter, good point, but the very fact that social media often sensationalizes personal problems draws the attention of many people who would have simply coped with their issues rather than wallowing in them and eschewing advice. Hence a compelling reason why people are more lost now than ever regardless of the perpetual imperfection of human history. It doesn't help that ease of living and need for instant gratification have rendered so many folks with a sense of entitlement and stubbornness while weakening their spirits and resolve all the same.

@joshtraffanstedt2862 Yeah you are right with advanced technology but the fact of the matter is that we didn't have social media and you can't change the past. I'm a gen-x. I grew up playing in mud poles with matchbox cars and stuff like that, but most of this new generation probably never heard of LHOTP (I'm not saying everyone) they'd rather be on ticktock or be a hermit these days. What happened to actually going up to a woman and having a conversation instead of this social media bs. I'm glad I grew up in the 80's! And glad there were no (cell)phones. Edit: what's wrong with reminiscing with someone? Good times.

His father was Jewish and his mother was Irish. His mother unfortunately was very abusive towards him and even saved his mom from committing suicide. She didn’t like the fact that her kids were half Jewish. Which I don’t understand why she married one if she didn’t like Jews. My dad is Jewish and my mom is Latina I know members of my moms family would say crap about my dad thankfully my mom cut out certain extended family members for their toxicity. So sometimes when you’re mixed you can have some interesting looks.

@@lissaC.W. "Mixed" yeah okay
@lissaC.W.2 жыл бұрын
@@hamster9747 ok mixed is a little complicated then? What? blended, diverse, varied, merged. Whatever word suits you that you can comprehend. 🙄 Edit : because your statement was a little bizarre. It made absolutely no sense. The reason I stated “Mix” because majority of Americans use that word to describe others and themselves. There was even a show called “Mixed-ish” a spin of of “Black-ish” because the female protagonist is biracial. When I or my brothers get questioned about our background sometimes if we don’t have time to talk we will say we’re mixed with a bunch of things and move on. Because majority of latinos have a combination of different things. European, indigenous, African, even Jewish as well. Some may have two different backgrounds or all three or four. So the term “Mixed” has been used for decades. And then explain that our father is Jewish. So I simplify it because Usually people get it. So your poor attempt to try to educate or whatever your motive was. Maybe Triggered by the word Mixed. Rather then give an educated response, your comment comes off as a bit rude and pretentious. So unless you can enlighten me more with your off statements. To make it into a rational debate. I will still stand by my original comment. Oh by the way Here’s your definition www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/mixed.

Definitely a top 10 talk show guest of all time, up there in the pantheon with Hanks and Rickles. These artists never phoned it in or acted too cool for the room, i.e., "I'm just here to plug my movie/TV show and I'm not in any mood to be entertaining or funny" like some guests. In the case of Landon, it's refreshing that Mr. Wholesome Family TV realized that the audience for the Tonight Show back then was mostly adults who wanted to be entertained as an adults and were ready for randy humor, and he provided wit, attitude, and double entendres like a Vegas lounge act, keeping it real instead of feeling the need to be an upstanding father figure type who's perfect at home as well as on TV/film.
