I think every household on the planet has one of those baskets in their kitchen cupboards 😂

Ohh I’ve been excited for this one! Thanks so much! Michael was touring in Australia two weeks ago and I took my mother for her 80th- we had the best time, he did a lot of off-the-cuff comedy with the audience which I think shows his talent as a comedian as it certainly wasn’t all rehearsed! Happy 4th July to you both ❤

Me and my missus have a basket on the counter but it’s slightly overflowed we have at least 50 spices and herbs and we use them all the time 5 spice is Chinese but you can also get 7 spice which is from Thailand. Although we also get spices from my missus friend from turkey and about her friend from Pakistan. We love exploring different cultural tastes and doing fusion foods only today I made a cottage pie fused with Indian spices and it was absolutely amazing. So please explore the world of spices you will not regret it🙂loved the video please keep up the reactions maybe try Josh Widdecombe, Jack Dee, Russel Howard or possibly Mark Hughes. Have a goodn

Spices are medicine ! 😀

I don't like the term "medicines" for Spices and Herbs. I know it's pedantic BUT medicines these days are the domain of Pharmaceutical companies. Spices and Herbs fall into Nature's domain. I know they have medicinal value, essentially meaning "curative properties" and are seriously beneficial to your health. Most Pharmaceutical Medicines target one infliction BUT contribute to a myriad of others, which require more Pharmaceutical medicines to cure. Just my view of life

lol.. I use Chinese 5 spice all the time when I make Chinese style mushrooms. We rotate what "Fast food" we have on Saturday nights and as I'm the only one who like mushrooms there's no point ordering just for me so I cook em up myself.

I dont thin garlic really comes through sweat. Cardamom does and perhaps high levels of cumin.

I like using garlic myself. Try fresh garlic, it just enhances the flavour to a different level.
@JohnHF1957 Жыл бұрын
The "five" in five spice is not actually the number of spices but the number of flavours, which are, sweet, bitter, sour, salty and savoury. The most common five spice mix is made up of star anise, cloves, cinnamon, fennel and Sichuan pepper. There are other variations, with many having more than five spices and one version having thirteen.

The funny thing about Americans saying "urrbs" instead of "herbs" is that here in Yorkshire, a lot of us (including me) take the H off our words, but the fact that 'erbs' is an American way of saying it, it ends up being basically the only word we say with a H cos it sounds too american not to, I wish you lot said it with the H purely just so we can say it without hahahaha
