@glamgal71066 жыл бұрын
...and in a very sad twist of fate--to put it quite mildly--Motley Crue's Vince Neil was the drunk driver behind the wheel while Hanoi's Razzle was in the death seat; personally I think Vince got a slap on the wrist as far as jail time. If you ever saw the video "Hard and Heavy," Michael promoted his "Dead, Jail or Rock n' Roll" video, also mentioning his reluctance to reunite Hanoi Rocks at the time; he'd quoted, "You can't put your arms around a memory." I don't know exactly what happened from then until this video but it seems like Michael and Sami had somewhat come to terms with Razzle's death. I think there was a reunion, or some of the surviving Hanoi Rocks members reunited briefly, but I could be wrong on this. Nevertheless, it was great to watch this video because during the late 1980s, Michael had this "don't go there" approach when asked about the possibility of reuniting Hanoi Rocks; it was obvious that Razzle's death took quite a toll on him.

GlamGal 710 How fun!! Yes, they lived on the lower east side. I’ve stayed over Sami’s several times. It’s too bad Sami left the band and went onto an extremely ordinary boring path with a female singer who looks like a midwestern girl whose a wannabe rocker with no real talent. It shows cause they never made it like Michael Monroe’s band. It’s sad when talented ppl with a great formula split up. When you’ve got it, don’t let it go. U stay grateful. The recipe to success is the right formula. They had it and let it go. It’s like the Stones, they knew not to ever split and r still clocking dollars. The female singer and that other vibe is and was always tired. So last century. Do you know what Michael is doing now? And Sami for that matter?

Dennis Lindqvist Yeah, Sami is a real nice guy, straight up, no bs, but he’s got bad taste in women. It seems women can rule him. He used to live in the East Village in Manhattan. He was convinced by a female gf to allow him to let her sing in his new band. She has no talent but he liked her as a gf. I think that was his musical downfall.
