Im liberal and it was way over the top. The show hit every possible woke subject. Its like the characters came out of a time capsule.

Absolutely agree with Andy -- if you go overboard and make it too obvious then it just doesn't feel authentic and seems like you are just filling a quota to placate people. In the end then it is just counter productive and you can do more harm than good. Hopefully season 2 is a bit more aligned with reality and i do appreciate them making the effort.

I’m as progressive as it goes and the writing in this show has been absolute crap. Wokeness overboard and characters that we used to know but don’t recognize anymore because they’ve all gotten a lobotomy. Miranda, particularly, is like a completely different person for the worse. The new characters are like furniture and I simply couldn’t care less. It’s awful, truly awful. I hope Che dies by end of season. I won’t watch but I hope that happens.

MPK agreed! Most people are smarter than woke, so I think its actually a brilliant move and for anyone who knows of how conformism works (in the form of the Hays code or the Soviet Union "stiob" way of moving around censorship) its apparent that this show has a subversive element in it, which I m not sure the actors get themselves, but anyways it works..
