He could very well be on the board when Dolphins are up to pick. He comes from a cold weather team and he's played well. If the Dolphins hit on Penix and improve the defense a little more, they could become very difficult to deal with.

Just remember, every mock draft I see doesn't show Penix in the 1st round. That means that everyone's team will have a shot at the lottery, drafting THE BEST QUARTERBACK COMING OUT IN THIS YEAR'S DRAFT. The question is, which team will be smart enough to pick him? I can see some people perhaps liking Caleb Williams over Penix, but the rest of these guys? The kid from North Carolina and the Michigan kid though??? That's embarrassing. Better than Maye, safer than Williams, and is a day one starter. The only concerns I have of him is his clutch gene and if he can lead a team. If he has to comeback to win, I think your team is in trouble. He didn't do a very good job against Michigan this year. So if you're going to win with him, your teams has to be leading or more than likely lose. But he can make a good offense and become really good, and you'll have to rely on a great defense to make sure he doesn't have to will the team to win.

@@pigskin1287 your game is affected that much by tearing an ACL as a QB and those other shoulder injuries don't mean anything. If he relied on his legs to make plays then it would be a concern. Caleb relies a lot on his legs and if he tears it once he might not be the same again like Wentz. Peyton Manning had no mobility in his final years and still put up great numbers.

Caleb is a top 5 pick meaning he’s getting 18-30Mil and your wasting a high draft pick on someone who chances to get hurt is more likely also he’s listed at 6’1 so he’s really probably 5’11. Penix is like 6’2 you want a bigger QB

Were is the video displaying his so called big arm looks like mostly balls underthrown or simple 3/5 step drops that any 3rd or 4th rounder with the same pac 12ish talent level can make deff not a 1st rounder some of the ducks hes throwing in this are laughable nothing against Penix but Fontenot dropped the ball Big time with this draft pick and a few others on this one particular and obviously 80+ percent or so of his picks so far since he was hired the only ones hes had right so far was the obvious ones bjan london pitts was ok and T algier not enough to stay in atlanta, thats why he drafted a qb to sit and lock in another 3-4 instead of a cb,de,wr etc then blank could hv let him go after nxt season or mid season if he botched another one ,the coach and staff and GM are guaranteed 3-4 unless they go without a win etc

If the Bears got Michael Penix Junior in the third or fourth round I’ll be pretty happy… He might be available in the early fourth round… I mean the guy has a skill set that’s no worse than Brock Bowers or the guy from LSU, 14 1/2 x 13 3/4 I think… Something like that… That was on paper, this is a collage piece on top of a wooden plywood board… I’m tired of canvas, it cost too much and the paintings are never any better just because you can see texture doesn’t make it a great picture or photograph… Anyway here’s some more and I’ll keep my mouth shut next time
