Its so sad that most of the world have no clue about Great Michael Schenker!!! :)))

On every Michael Schenker song I'm always waiting for the solo. Always plays tastefully and he never disappoints. He was born to play that guitar.
@beornthebear.82203 жыл бұрын
The guitar is like an extension of him. It speaks almost like words.
@sazad28992 жыл бұрын
Hell yeah bro. Same goes to me. His solo and tone really tells you that that was a solo by Michael Schenker. Its like a distinct signature solo.
@V3ntilator2 жыл бұрын
The guitar is basically a biologically part of Schenker. Him and his guitar is ONE. The guitar is his soul.

Agree. So I was disappointed when I first listened to After The Rain. Great tune but it's crying out for a long, melodic solo. Michael missed a trick.

It’s so sad that most of the world has no idea how lucky we are to have been able to witness this lineup. It was a blessing to see it live, seeing music videos like this really makes you remember how special it is/was!

You most certainly got that right!! It still was the best concert I've been to. I wish he'd bring it back, just once more!

Fantastic song and what a solo! Schenker's not interested in any form of mindless shredding, it's all about expression and getting the feeling of the song across, elevating the song to new heights. And he does this perfectly here with his wonderful vibrato, contrasting note lengths, expressive use of bending, etc. etc. while avoiding tired old rock guitar clichés. This is how you do it, kids!
@SpanishBass16 жыл бұрын

Michael is a living legend and he still sounds great. He played on his 1st record in 1972(Lonesome Crow - Scorpions)! Nice to see him embracing his solo band's full history. In the video as well as on the album we have the original MSG singer (Barden), Assault Attack singer, bassist and drummer(Bonnet, Glen, McKenna), late '80s singer(McCauley), and current singer (White). Kudos and respect to all these guys.
@karl18086 жыл бұрын
Great stuff, except doogie white should not be leading the vocals, not because he isn't a great vocalist, but he 'doesn't cut the mustard' compared to the vocals of Barden,more so in context of the MSG sound. Barden and McAuley vocals suited the sound of MSG the best
@kitoyobeni16 жыл бұрын
Doogie's leading because he has been Michael's singer of late. The other guys are guests.
