Lifelong Schenker/MSG fan and this is the first time I've heard/seen this lineup with Ray Kennedy and Dennis Feldman. I understand Ray was an emergency add. Even with all the chemicals, Michael's playing is simply tremendous!

Schenker is my all time favorite, I discovered him on my Technics SA303 receiver, on the old Starview 92.7, Harrisburg rock station. WoW!, can remember On and On when it first released for radio. Just don't get better and that is just fur sure!!!
@tmst21995 жыл бұрын
I've always been out in the Southwest deserts so missed the rocking in the heartland. Never heard an MSG song on any radio station. This German was a little too fringe for the mainstream stuff that dominated FM rock radio out here.

People try to compare the blonde bomber with Eddie. Michael is still the best in my opinion. When he left UFO they tried to get Edward to take his place. He admitted he couldn’t fill those shoes!

Ray Kennedy came & saved the day ,Barden's vocals were shot down! Kennedy has history, look him up Wikipedia ,will be surprised ,just like I did when I found who he was!
@tmst21994 жыл бұрын
Doesn't Kennedy add an inspirational quality to the song? I think he's really into it.
You got it,, yeah,, Ray Kennedy finished the leg of the tour in Japan,, I was there at the Chuck Landis Resedas Country Club, I remember the lil flying v's on each side of his hair! this was Japan Rock 1984, there was another show at the Hollywood Palladium & Gary was having a hard time with his vocals! that's the reason he didn't go to Japan & Kennedy came in as a emergency vocalist! Paul Raymond had left already , Andy Nye here was the new Keyboard but no Rhythm Guitar!

I believe his name is Kennedy. He's so much better than the regular singer who sounds lifeless on the album. But, then, this is the version I heard first...
