My first guitar hero was Ace Frehley b/c to my then-6 year old noggin he looked more like a member of the X-Men than anything. Once I got into guitar, however, ten years later, Schenker was THE benchmark of awesomeness! Glad I got to see him twice in the late-80s when there was an MSG as opposed to his "Temple of Rock" schtick he's doing now (tho I did see him once w/ ToR). I was always baffled as to why he never broke big here in guitar-crazy America.

I'm looking for the "On and on" live version that came out on a compilation album with other bands around 1984.
