We love Michael Singer’s work. As long as he and KZbin allow us to post these videos, we will.
We do not receive ad revenue from these videos, but KZbin may.
If you would like to learn more about Michael Singer’s work, here are a few suggestions: - Every Sunday, Monday & Thursday, he releases talks at www.tou.org. - Every Sunday, Monday & Thursday night, he gives a live talk at his Temple of the Universe in Alachua, Florida. Anyone can attend for free.
He’s written several books. They are phenomenal, even the ones written in the seventies. (We will receive a commission if you purchase books through these links.)

If you’re wondering what Mickey’s saying at the beginning and end of each talk, it is:
Jai Guru Dev, Jai Masters. Jai Guru Dev is a traditional Hindu phrase that means Glory to the Great Teacher (the most accurate translation would be glory to the shining remover of darkness), where the great teacher here is generally considered to be the Divine Soul, while we, as human beings, are considered the individuated Soul. Jai Masters means Glory to the Masters, some of whom Singer refers to at times.
Thank you for visiting. Peace, my friend.

If you want a lot of practice with this try being a people pleaser/co-dependent married to a narcissist. I’m learning fast now. Mickyteaches the “ultimate gray rock” technique. That’s a joke, it is way more than that and his are the only teachings that will ultimately free me.

Wow this should be put onto a Michael Singer “Essential Teachings” list. Man, dodged a bullet, I was totally falling for that trap, glad I got the help to get out Are there other fundamental talks like this? O.O

I've been thinking about creating a Playlist just for Essential Teachings, because it's easy to get lost with so many talks available. I just haven't figured out how to identify which teachings should go in there. Any suggestions are appreciated!

The talks I am releasing now, Mickey originally released in late 2021. He releases 1 or 2 new talks every week and you can access them on his website www.tou.org. He also re-releases 1 or 2 older talks every week on his website. I am releasing 1 talk every day. I estimate that about 1 year from now, I will have caught up with Mickey and will only have 1 or 2 new releases every week. I think you'll find the stuff he releases now is similar to what he released in the past. He has this amazing way of describing our human predicament from so may different perspectives that it is relevant many years later. And of course, the wisdom he shares now really dates back to the Great Masters of years ago.

@@SeatsofContemplation Michael is describing something that words cannot convey, they are analogies referring to something to experience, not to understand intellectually. The reference used in the past was describe the taste of sugar to someone who has not tasted it. Shakti is energy that cannot be explained with words or concepts. “I get to see these energies”.

But isn't it okay to feel disturbed by the disturbance? I think we can feel at peace with feeling disturbed by the disturbance?
@christianpayaalonso1264
@christianpayaalonso1264 13 күн бұрын
Yes, I'm also confused about this. I'm either misunderstanding him or he sometimes contradicts himself. On the one hand he says that disturbance doesn't feel good but then he sometimes says that you should be happy when you feel the disturbance. I can kind of understand his point if he means that you can see disturbance as an opportunity to let go of your resistance to it, but the nature of disturbance is unpleasant so I think it's impossible to feel happiness at the same time as you feel anxiety for example. I think your way of seeing it (being at peace with anything, even our disturbance about the disturbance) is the most helpful attitude.
@SeatsofContemplation
@SeatsofContemplation 13 күн бұрын
I think it's absolutely okay to feel the disturbance. Otherwise, you're just suppressing it again. What you don't want to do is shift your awareness to the disturbance. You want to remain in the Seat of Awareness and simply watch the disturbance, but not get lost in it. When your awareness goes to the pain (like when you smash your toe), it's very painful. If you maintain your awareness in your center, it's not so painful. And when you get really good at maintaining your Center of Awareness, you can watch extremely painful emotions, yet still feel great joy for the experience of being human.

I understand what you are saying, but what is wrong with wanting the world to be a better place, for the planet, for humanity’s growth, for evolution! Which is to raise consciousness? This is a genuine question? If people don’t Ty to change things, things don’t change? I agree with everything you’re saying about self evolution, but the information earth gives is asking for us to do this!

So now I’m to believe that wishing to share the joy of a free mind is a bad thing and to mind my own business! Interesting perspective- thanks, but I will practice all these teachings and still wish to give this freedom to others because it truly benefits everyone and everything on earth! Self evolution is the direction of not just inner peace but true peace with all being in synchronicity. It elevates the vibration on earth all together and will cause earth to have many more creative solutions to a lot of the chaos that happens when a world is at war with itself!

Ultimately I think Mickey's base case is, if we each do this work on ourselves, the world becomes a better place, the planet becomes better, humanity grows and evolves. If instead, we try to make changes based on what our samskaras tell us to do, we will make things worse.
