I’m guessing only the ego/the person is lonely. Cause alone is another thing. But my person too, so loud about loneliness specifically so so often.

Dear Ram Dass. On the five year anniversary of your passing, I say from the depth of my being: thank you for shining your light into the world. I know you'd likely say it was only "Maharajji's light'" --but respectfully (and relatively), I'd disagree. Thank you, Baba. I love you as you love me. ❤

I hing out with him too! In various circumstances early 80' s thru esrly 2000 's when he visited my community Cohocanyon in Marin wheelchair-bound! Amazing karma...to have touched so many in such a way...and still is thanks to LSRF fol ks honoring his wishes and legacy! Jack Kornfield and he and others brought ancient eastern wisdom to us clueless youngsters in the west, and gave us all these tools/inner resources to help raise our/the consciousness, sooo needed... and more than ever.... see also Jack' s book ' bringing the Dharma home' for more stories and reflections..buddhism and devotional path meet perfectly and omplement...and honor all rivers leading to godconsciousness! We are all one! All animals and Nature too! Biocentrism not anthropcentrism...

If anyone is going to the legacy retreat August 15th in North Carolina and is camping offsite would you be interested in finding a campsite together and would want to carpool to the retreat? Could be a nice way to connect and do some group meditation and hanging out before and after each day. Let me know ❤ thanks . Much love.

This comment is to peacefully protest the gatekeeping of RD’s lectures. Common complaints as clarified by the community on the Ram Dass subreddit are as follows. Removal of content, privatizing/licensing out content, copyright striking others who post content without replacing what was removed or providing another means to access the content. Restriction of what is released, cutting and editing pieces of full lectures and not releasing the full lectures themselves. Putting a paywall in place that provides access to still limited content. Access to content is overall severely limited compared to just a year or two ago. I know that the foundation needs to make money but it seems like there is a way it could be done that isn’t as restrictive when it comes to access to uncut lectures.

There are a lot of people in the spiritual circle creating an identity or grasping around Awareness being your true identity. I Am-ness”, Oneness or any kind of non dual states can actually be transcended (but included) in deeper levels of Realization when you see through to the lack of inherent existence and self/Self in everything, including Awareness itself. Consciousness, or any type of unity experiences are not the Source or the Ground of experience, but part of the co-dependently arising processes of causes and conditioning.
