Thanks for this documentary about Tippett sadly now a largely forgotten figure i think.Young musicians i know don't understand his music and are looking elsewhere for good contemporary music both in classical and jazz music.Sad but true.

If you have the video of the later interviews he did with Channel 4 towards the end of his life, be great to see them, they came out the same time as his autobiography.

Yes, I do wish someone with the tapes would upload those interviews. Maybe Channel 4 itself.

@@AntPDC That has since been uploaded, I believe. It's a shame no one has the documentaries (Songs of Experience and Poets in a Barren Age.)
