This is a wonderful example of the power of magic. The two ladies are amazed, as are the audience. Beautiful effects, beautifully executed. There aren't many people in the world that can do this and in a day and age when everything is gimmicked and social media only allows you to see what the camera can see, this classic close up magic is a sight to behold. Michael, I salute you and I love your videos where you share your stories of old and show us great card magic. Thank you! Mustapha

One of the things I've always loved about magic and magicians is the way the craft is passed down from person to person and that most magicians constantly pay tribute to their teachers and mentors in their acts. Love that tradition.
@alexhetherington80285 жыл бұрын
What he said about him being born in the golden era of magic is 100% true. Michael was lucky enough to have been taught and gotten to interact with some of the best magicians ever to have lived.Your talking true masters that you would find in any craft .It is a shame most of them have now gone but I see them within Michael ,you can see their knowledge, wisdom,passion, skill and incredible showmanship in Michael which is becoming a rare thing now. I hope that side of magic doesn't die or it will feel like the great pyramid's construction techniques , like an amazing thing that will be forgotten and forever lost.Michael is a great because he is the next generation continuing what he was taught and that would make his mentors proud.I can only hope to become as good as Michael one day,I feel like this Art deserves it and deserves not to be lost.

You can learn a lot by watching and listening to Michael. Technique is one thing and presentation is state of the art. Correct me if I am wrong but he works on his presentation even more than on the sleights themselves. A true ARTIST. Take care.

Even though I can detect a good portion of what he does, what he does is pure perfection. Watching someone doing something with absolute perfection is a treat and as entertaining to watch as other form of media. What he does is pure perfection and inspiring. Watching this makes me feel like a kid again.

For a venue that's built for magic, it's odd that they wouldn't have a second camera for close-ups.

At 5:42 he oversells the coins in the left hand and you can see the girl on his right realize the hand is empty, but she has no clue how it happened because he drew eye contact at 5:32. The act is tailored for the audience, but also the close-up participants. Dude is a master.
