I really like this kind of video. You know the episodes of a TV show that are strictly character development and no plot? That's what these kinds of videos are like for me. I feel like I know you (and definitely Stefan) better than before, and that's a really cool thing.

I told my best friend, on one of our rare face to face visits (not so lucky as u two to b in same town) that I didn't know what I'd do without her because, "You remind me of who I am when I start to lose myself." I don't personally know any other person who has a friendship as close as ours that has lasted as long as ours (20+ years). That has always made me a little sad. To know that you two have that makes my world a little brighter :)

As others have said, it's nice to see a different Michael, Stefan and Katelyn 'off camera' while still being on it. As you mentioned during the interview, the vlogs are just tiny sections of the day put together but it makes the character portrayal very distorted to what you are. You obviously don't put on a character as other vloggers do, but its just the weird fun stuff that makes the cut that happens between friends that happens to be on camera. I relate a lot to what you say about the funniest moment, my relationship with my best friends are very weird and crazy and we couldn't pick out a stand out moment, it is just a long standing series of inside jokes that build on one and other. Brilliant interview and video Michael.

1. There was absolutely no surprise in this video. It was completely wonderful and beautiful through and through, just as I (we all) suspected it would be. 2. Every question you answered gave rise to two or three more. I won't pose them all here. 3. Four-minute rule still remains one of the Vlogbrothers best general-principle contributions to online video, BUT DOES NOT APPLY TO VIDEOS DISCUSSING A TWENTY YEAR RELATIONSHIP. Besides, it (the rule) is regularly set aside for collab videos as well, and this was nothing if not a collab video. 4. Still needs more Stefan's Dad. Wants a live appearance.

I've always believed that you can tell a lot about people by who their friends are and how they behave with those friends. I really liked this video. I have 2 friends that I have known since kindergarten (we are now 26) and when you said that the humor can be like a 20 year long inside joke, I can relate. I think that having something to connect over, laugh about and build on over the years is great in a friendship. It's fun and makes you feel close to that person. Anyway, I enjoyed this interview style of video. Happy 20th!

Michael & Stefan - I really enjoyed watching this. I have a best friend like that, so I totally understand the dynamic of a long lasting friendship like yours. I have always enjoyed the little moments in your videos where you and Stefan are goofing off together or even just talking. I think it was nice to see more of how the two of you interact. You should do a series of videos together where u answer questions from viewers about each other and other random topics... maybe even a silly video where u have to answer questions about eachother, like they do on the newlywed game and watch each other react to the answers! That was entertaining. Didn't feel like 15+ minutes at all. I can definitely relate with Stefan's thing about how being around two of my very good friends allows me to be sillier. I'm usually a very grounded and reserved person, but something about those two let's me, I guess, comfortable enough to be goofier than usual. This was something that made me realize there was something wrong with my relationship with my ex-best friend who ended up being a horrible person.

I have a best friend who I've been friends with for about 12 years. She had moved in across from me and her dad basically made us be friends. We never went to the same school because she mainly lived with her mom and stayed at her dad's on the weekends so she lived in a different district than me. We are polar opposite in basically all aspects of life but we still manage to make each other laugh. I have no idea if we would still be friends if we went to the same school together.

Every now and then I realize that it's kind of weird to be as interested in real people's lives as one might be in the lives of fictional characters, but I guess that's what you sign up for when you're a "creator." Or even when you aren't a creator, since anyone's perception of anyone is inherently incomplete and so on. Am I overthinking it? Dunno. This was a nice video and it made me laugh.

No problem! :) He's a little behind right now (like...a month and a half) but they're uploaded very frequently, just maybe not every day, which is when the delay starts. He'll catch up eventually. They're divided into "seasons" (like a tv show) that start/end roughly around the new year and the end of VidCon. So we're only ~30 episodes into Season 4 right now.

Lovely video, a bit too short for my taste, but the ending was perfect, especially because it wasn't planned. I kinda wish that I had a friend like this, but all my friends are terrible at communication and it starts to feel like a burden if you always have to be one trying to contact the other... One of the reasons I started watching your videos is because I can tell that you're very self-conscience (is this the right word? my English is getting worse, I just hope I make sense) about what you are putting online, but at the same time it all feels so genuine. And I will never think that I know you as a person because of your videos, because I'm just realistic like that, but I know I wouldn't be disappointed should I ever meet you, because I roughly know what to expect. On a totally not to Christmas related note: do you and Stefan both have the IPhone 6+?
