I still remember watching 10k pyramid or some game show MANY years ago (seems like 30 years ago) and Flip had to come up with a poem about kids on the spot. About 30 seconds later he said, "When your kid is not walking or talking, you worry, you fret, and you frown. But when they turn two, its all you can do, to get them to shut up and sit down." So impressive that I never forgot it.

To this day I use Flip Wilson in a theological lesson, but it’s not Flip Wilson as a preacher but Flip Wilson as Geraldine. Responsibility for what you do is not the Devil’s, it’s yours. The Devil did not make you buy that dress. He did a great job of teaching that.
