I had VHT Deliverance 60 around 2013. Used it in a country band with a 2x12 cab. I know… not really appropriate for country music, but it worked. When I traded it, we plugged into a 4x12 and it absolutely came to life. Absolute beast of an amp.

Put a Synergy Deliverance module in front of that PS-100 with a Syn2, its incredible !! Michael did a vid a while back comparing it to the head. I have that combo, it covers everything !! PLUS you actually get two channels with the module

I listened to your demo and Pete Thorn's back to back. You two got very different sounds out of the amp. Sounds much more classic rock in Pete's hands, and much more modern in your hands.

I had a deliverance 60 version 2. The clean channel was one of the most unique and amazing sounding things I’ve ever heard. My main problem was it had a MASSIVE amount of low end that I couldn’t dial out without completely taking the bass out. It was also the loudest thing I’ve ever heard. It went from zero to sh*t your pants loud in an instant.
@ForeverDownByLaw7 ай бұрын
Deliverance does have quite a bit of fat low end. I generally prefer Pittbulls for this reason. But, I have no problem turning bass completely off on an amp if need be. For Plexi style amps, I usually will turn the bass nearly or completely off.
@artysanmobile7 ай бұрын
That’s a pretty ingenious two-mode preamp. It isn’t really two channels which is just fine. We want two independently controlled sounds, NOT two independently controlled channels. Brilliantly conceived and executed, probably fully uses two 12ax7a tubes and frees up panel space.

Amazing amp!! As always, well presented! Man if they would come out with a stereo pedalboard sized powerstation / amp, made for modelers and preamps… 100watts with the master section design of the amp (two masters with power amp tweaking)… I feel like it would fly off the shelves these days. Two inputs, A/B/Y or blend between them. Two speaker outputs. FX loop, selectable left/right/both, for stereo or wet-dry… Yeah, im a BIG dreamer!

SOunds good.The deliverance is the only Freyette amp I liked. The Ultra Leads and pitbulls always sounded "off" to me. The Sig X was okay but didn't excel at any of the sounds it was supposed to make. But the Deliverance series sounds pretty solid.
@81giorikas7 ай бұрын
Very difficult to find in europe but it sounds great. There are some plugins that model them and sound ...well pretty much what I hear here. Which is not what you hear in the room obviously but whatever. About Fryette not being a clone of old marshalls etc, he is right but also there is a detail. For the deliverance he wanted to come close to an EL34 amp (...british old) without using actually EL34 power tubes...! I'd say that if this is the case he got it. I'd also say that the cab is part of the recipe, to a big extent.
