I can see its an old comment, but if you're still interested: Its entirely possible without TA. The combo window in these old SF games is really small, so to combo you usually have to pack them into the specials together with the directional commands, concluding with the finisher. Comboing in SFA2 Turbo is the most extreme case of it. For Cammy in SFA3 a simple 3-hit combo (st. lp >> cr. lk >> cannon spike) would be ⭢ +LP >> ⭣ +LK >> ⭨(or ⭢) +LK (/MK/HK). Best done after an unsuccessful crossup attempt from the opponent or on wakeup, albeit st. HP into Cannon Spike would be the best bet regarding risk/reward for same damage or more (incidentally you can also see him doing that on oki). Of course you could do these from a jump in and with other starters (cr. MP linking into st. LP or st. LK, for example), which can score you 5 hits or more. Not as hard as it may sound, it's just a matter of labbing it up. A day's work.
