Hi Michaels camera am facing some issues with my Blackmagic ATEM Television Studio HD as the screen i connect to the ATEM MulitVIEW pot is not showing and image but the ATEM LCD screen is showing image from a camera I connect to it.

Edenilson Cardoso YES unfortunately it was a defective Switcher. So I sent it to BM and they wound up sending me a new one. Everything worked fine. You’ll have to email BM.

The first was connecting the blackmagic design software to the micbook air. Once again installed on another window laptop and connected. Then the first laptop (mickbook air) was disconnected. What to do to connect again.

블랙매직디자인 스위쳐 ATEM Television Studio HD 믹서에서 카메라신호와 마이크 신호 받아서 프리뷰로햐서 자막기에서들어가서 hdmi해서 캡처보드 보냐는대요. 믹서에서 멀티뷰 말고 출력단자가 4개sdi단자있는대 바로 출력하면 자막기에서 자막 입혀서 나가서 캡처보드 / 자마막기에서 자막 입혀서 믹서에 4개 sdi 단자로 출력 가능할까요?

Thanks for the video! I'm looking to send my program output to a projector (using SDI-HDMI conversion) and then want to send a different output to another projector (using another SDI-HDMI converter). For the output through an aux, can I select the aux and mix video inputs in the same way as the program out? Or even get a multiview that will show Preview and Aux rather than Preview and Program, but be able to switch between where I'm mixing to?

Hello, I have just received my Black Magic HDMI to SDI and running into my Black Magic Web Broadcaster to my iMac thorough OBS. The Picture is barely visible and lines all along the scene as well it is also show the same in the web broadcasters lcd panel. If I just connect from my canon camera to the web broadcaster via HDMI it works perfect. Any ideas on what to do? Thanks in advance.

When I connect my 2 cameras the switch doesn't get the video signals and instead of it only shows me a black screen and gets the audio. I'm trying to record 1080p signals in 29,97fps I REALLY hope you can help me. Thanks

Make sure that you match the resolution of those two camera hope those cameras are the same MAKE and MODEL and then set the same resolution on the ATEM and that should work.

I'm not sure if you're still picking these comments up, but when you said you can run two separate multicams out (one SDI, one HDMI) did you mean they can be configured separately or are they just a cloned output? Also do you think it's worth getting a loom made up for the long runs of cables for SDI or does that limit your camera placements?

The important thing to remember when Switching Cameras and Computers is to have everything on the same standard - in 99% of cases this means 1080p60. If you can't get all sources on the same standard you might need to convert the problem signal to match your main standard. For this job you want to get a Blackmagic Teranex AV into your system. You could use an AUX output from the ATEM along with a SDI to HDMI Micro Converter to drive a standard TV set that has HDMI inputs.

Hi, I'm liking your video, but what if I don't wanna use the web presenter can I just input the signal with declink (or something similar) - and then use other software to stream it? Do you have a video how the ATEM control software works in this kind of situation? The goal that I'm trying to create is a streaming solution for 2 or more cameras that would require only one laptop that would do both the live editing and streaming.

The ATEM control software is completely independent of your method of streaming. As long as you can capture the video output from the ATEM into your computer (or even a stand alone streaming device) and get it to a streaming application you should be good to go. Keep in mind you don't need to do the live switching from the ATEM software as the basic controls are on the front panel of the ATEM. The other software items (like OBS Studio) just run in the background on the computer once you set them up and go live.

You are correct, the Web Presenter's output is a Web Camera feed over USB to a computer. The beauty of this system is any software you like can take a Web Camera feed.

Michael, you can record the streaming output with any standard application that can record from a web cam. Do keep in mind that this will be at 720p. Otherwise you will need a video capture card with HDMI or SDI inputs. The way we record is with a standalone Blackmagic Hyperdeck. There SSD and SD versions of these Hyperdecks. Very nice products.

we have found out that unless your camera can output a mono signal onto both channels the ATEM television studio HD is no good for audio unless you use a separate mixer. The audio signals are linked stereo on the ATEM which means if you only have one microphone plugged in it will be permantly panned hard left or hard right and there is no way to change this position unless you use the more expensive 4K version of the system.
