Nice review. I will agree that, within the three majors (DAL, AAL, UAL), Delta is the choice to make. The aviation world changes from second to second, however, if all goes well, I will be flying in F on the A319 out of DTW in two weeks. Thank you, once again. Cheers!

Sad, sad, sad, for first class. This looks like regular seat class in the 1980s - everybody used to get leg room, headphones, blankets. What a slipping-down life in America. Comfort is lacking. Might as well drive. For a nation offering only a one week vacation (if at all) unlike Europeans who enjoy 8 week vacations, it breaks my hearts that young kids don’t know any better.

Awesome review on my favorite airline!! Another improvement Delta could make is to offer Dr. Pepper onboard. If you fly Delta more you’ll really appreciate how consistent the interiors are on their fleet. I think over 90% of the fleet now has the seatback TVs (excluding regional carriers) and newer interiors, even if the plane itself is older. The pillow you had looked nice I haven’t seen that type of pillow when I flew first last year, it looks like they improved it. The dessert service you suggested would be a great idea to elevate the experience. I hope a Delta executive watches your review. Should I send you a referral for the Delta AMEX? 😂

Yes!!! with the Dr. Pepper. I didn’t realize they didn’t have it and I asked for it and was bummed. Totally forgot to mention that kinda as a joke lol. AA has Dr. Pepper 😏. The pillow was really nice. My idea for the cookie is how American does their dessert service on domestic flights. Lol about the Amex. I’m almost ready to convert lol. If I do I’ll hit you up so you get that referral bonus though... Thanks for the feed back. Much appreciated

They give you Dasani water = crap water, just purified tap water. Plastic cups in first?!

That’s most likely due to their Coca-Cola deal and both companies being based in Atlanta. But who’s really in It for the water? The plastic cup issue on Pre Departure Beverages is from the FAA, which “highly suggests” that US Airlines use plastic cups with this boarding service. Maybe that will change with everyone’s efforts to ditch plastics. 🤷🏻‍♂️

@@MichaelBSteeleAviation Of course you are right, the water is secundary, but mind you hydration on a plane is very important. Dasani is really crap, but then again most water contains plastic nano particles and other stuff you do not want in your body. Also the cabin air is toxic (to a lesser extent in the 787 dreamliner, no bleed air) and aerotoxic syndrome - asbestos of the sky - is a real problem that nearly no passenger is aware of. Ignorance is bliss, were it not, then maybe some of us would think twice before flying (frequently).

That’s cool. The flight will be relatively quick. Just think good thoughts and don’t work yourself up. Maybe watch some takeoff and landing videos so you can kinda see what it looks like.

I enjoy Delta First Class, even for short distances. But I found it odd my complimentary wine was served in a plastic cup, and my mid flight drink (7Up) was served in a glass. Still, I loved feeling so spoiled. Hard to go back to Economy.

The FAA says glass isn’t prohibited but it “recommends that US airlines use deposable products” for faster Predeparture service. So you know that means is kinda is prohibited lol.
