It's truth. His stepdad, a bluegrass picker in his own right, career cut short by busted w/M. 20 yrs. Billy's 4 when Barber taught him BG. Billy was young tween and with guitar sought other musicians; metal, rock, southern rock, and bluegrass. Barber's out now and you can find short clips--they just made album together, too, of Billy and dad playing together. Too sweet and I bawl every time and get Hope. XO! my son watched this on way to rehab. thought he'd just like the pickin, cause he plays and tears going down his cheeks. He's 7 mo clean today. He's done the work, God, and his new Brothers, but this song kicked in more Inspiration at the right time. Grateful Mama~
