I really love the idea of these palettes, and I'm so disappointed that she didn't make one appropriate for dark or deep skin tones. As a professional who travelled a lot in the before times and who expects to be back to lots of travel soon, this is exactly the type of product I want to see more of -- it's better than just your standard face palette bc it includes the shadows and face powder as well. I hope another nice and high-quality brand comes out with something like this soon. I'm profoundly disappointed that this was released in 2021, but I guess everyone has forgotten about their Summer 2020 commitments to inclusivity. (rant over :-) )

Hello Michele, i have seen a couple others who have had the same shadow of their palettes broken upon arrival. Clearly that shade wasn’t pressed well and is likely a dud in many peoples palettes. 🤷🏼‍♀️ It’ll be interesting to see how many others have had the same problem.

About the lighter palette, you asked about that broken shade, i saw before the video of Jackeline from Hey it's Jackeline, she had the same! Of course we need a 3rd palette for people with gorgeous deeper complexion, but Charlotte listens to her customers i think. I learned this trick to repair broken powders from Z Palettes: put the piece back in the container in its original position, pour a bit of rubbing alcohol, enough to just soak the broken pieces. Smush it back into place and let it dry. It won’t look as pretty in the pan as the original packaging of course, but you can still use the product it if you can’t get a replacement. I had to do this to a Becca highlighter that arrived in crumbs, but I didn’t want to risk returning it in case they run out of stock and can’t send me a new one.

Hi Michelle, the shadow that broke on you is a new formula and mine came broken too. I watched Tara Lynn’s video and her’s were broken in both palettes. I did contact CT and they shipped me a new palette immediately. Excellent customer service!

You can kinda save the broken shadow by spraying it with alcohol and pressing it gently with something hard. Let it dry completely and it will stay put together. I've had this situation before.

My Pretty Blushed Beauty palette also had a broken #1 shade. I could tell as soon as I opened the box as the sparkles were everywhere. CT's customer service was fantastic though, as I got an intact replacement shipped next day.

I love my blused beauty palette but I don't love the fallout from shadow #1, the glitter gets on my undereye and face.. so excited for this vid!! You do such a nice job reviewing these palettes. I received mine, and the shadow in the lighter shades was ok. But I could barely read the imprint, so maybe because of this shadow's formula, the imprint cannot be pressed in too strongly or it will crack the shadow.

Try pouring a couple drops of rubbing alcohol on the shadow that fell out. You can push it in with a butter knife and it will dry and be ready to go.

I watched Angelika here in youtube review the same palette and she had to press the same eyeshadow down. So I don´t know if I´d buy this.. might be a pass, even though I like that they changed the the blush out to their famous powder, this way the palette as a whole is more usable.
