Michelin Anakee Road Tires on a Ducati Multistrada V4, INITIAL IMPRESSIONS!

The road 6's pulled to the left on my R1250gs as well, I ran two sets and both did the same thing. Obviously the gs has a single sided swingarm so nothing to do with the rear wheel alignment. I replaced the road 6's with metzler m9rr's and now she goes straight again.

Interesting! So far the Anakees seem to be spot on, but I definitely noticed the left pull with the road 6

Just mounted Road 6s on my 2022GS and they track perfectly straight. I have read that others have had tracking issues with these tires, not sure why…

Great, informative vid. Really keen to hear how these tyres perform. They look much cooler than the road 6, with a nicer tread pattern, so I’m hoping they’re just as good on the twisty mountains 👍👍

You could give the Metzler Tourance Next range of tires a go. Had them on my old KTM twice now and they're superb. I am mostly road focussed and rarely on fire trails and I find them to be a very good choice.

Chris, can you give us the feedback on the Anakee road tires that you road to TX? Somehow, you missed that, or I missed it. BTW, im sure we probably ran into each other in Ducati island. Or at least parked together. 😁

@@4KMotoring thanks, I’m deciding on whether to put one of these three tyres on my bike (Michelin Road 6, Michelin Anakee Road, Dunlop Mutant). I have a KTM 1290 Super Adventure S. The original front tyre occasional feels sketchy in some corners. I want to be able to go down the occasional dirt/gravel road and not feel like I might drop the big girl easily. Like the look of the Mutants and sounds like wet performance and gravel might be good with them. Anakee Road hasn’t really got any good reviews yet. Road 6 is meant for road but the tread pattern looks like it might do ok on gravel?

I'll let you know my verdict when I've had enough time to test. In my first couple days on the Anakee Road I'm really liking them.

Overall, yes! I have about 5,000 miles on them now and will be putting out an update soon
