I’ve been using sets of Michelin X-Ice tires for the last 20 years on my non EV vehicle and I couldn’t agree more, they are terrific in the snow. They last a long time and are definitely better in wet conditions than any of the various brands I used for all-seasons in the summer time. I’ll keep using them.

I said 'Huh, this looks like Michigan'. Greetings from SW Michigan. Thanks for the review.

Can't wait to put these on my F150. Hello from Atlantic Canada! 😀

I have been running a set of 4 Michelin summer and a second set of 4 winter (x-ice snow) since 1979. An excellent product for our conditions here in Atlantic Canada. They are made right here in my province. Disappointed that they do not have a run flat winter for my new Lexus NX350.

We live in the northeastern corner of the midatlantic, and I put these on our 2023 i4. Amazing grip and overall performance. Glad we made the swap. All seasons going back on in a couple weeks.

Great review, thank you! One request: Please add the Temperature, Traction, and Treadwear ratings, which I always consider before purchasing a tire.

I live in Ontario and while we don't get this much snow, we have our fair share of cold weather. Planning to put on a new set of Michelin X-ice snow tires this week on my EV- Tesla Model Y LR. Hope they perform as well in winter on ice and snow as they are highly rated among the best of the best in terms of grip and rolling resistance. I've never used these before but looking forward to it.

I had a bad experience with Michelin tires. They were cracking prematurely. That is why I switched to Bridgestone, which has been performing very well and much better.

My last Bridgestone cracked and had bad traction, Iv switched to Michelin and have had no problems 🤷♂️

Bridgestone was not a winner for me, either. @tysonharrison2566

How much range do they suck off on the Mach e. I’ve got blizzaks on my ev6 and I lost 60-100 miles.

Test should be done in slush/ice and last, snow.

I love “ not drama” tires! 😂

No matter what tires you put on your EV, you are going to lose mileage in winter conditions; the cold affects the useable capacity of your battery. Personally, I use X-ice Snow in winter and Cross Climate II the other three seasons.

I love conversations that involves an all season tire driver trying to justify themselves that driving on ICE on a studded winter is the same as using all seasons. Not to sure what to make of these folks. I'll just simply call them ignorant and poor.

I have tried different winter tires over the years. Had Bridgestone Blizzak twice, but found they wore down too quickly so it was like driving on an all-season after a very short time. Currently have Michelin X-Ice which need to be replaced. They are great on snow but don't like how they perform on ice. The name "X-ice" is very misleading. In the process of making a final decision on the Nokian Hakkapeliitta studded or non-studded instead. Does anyone have a recommendation on either one of these. The issue about studded tires is the "popcorn" noise which may become extremely irritating, although being able to stop on ice is ultimately important.

Continental Vikingcontact 7.... trust me! I have 2 cars with Nokian Hakkapeliittas and although they're great, the Continentals are WAY quieter and feel overall better in ice. Snow is identical. Blizzaks wear down WAY too fast. Their rubber compound is too soft.

@@tsiou82 I ended up getting the non-studded Nokian Hakkapeliittas in latter part of October. We are only getting a bit of snow now with more coming on the weekend, so I'll be able to test them out. I haven't heard anything about the Continental Vikingcontact 7s as the tire shops I visited didn't promote them. I need the best tire possible on ice. Glad you like them. Hope I didn't make a mistake with the Nokians!

These new x ice snows are terrible stick with continental or bridgestone or anything better than these overhyped tires.
