The bridge was designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel, which is why it is famous. It's sturdy, not suspension, as in wobbling in the wind. Which you implied.

I thought as soon as Giles said heavy suitcases, this dumb dude clearly had it all planned in his mind that he was going to dump them off the bridge & when he tried he realised he should have lifted a few more heavier weights at the gym, seriously🙄 Thoughts & prayers are with the family who are going to receive the awful news. The suspension bridge is a toll bridge for cars. Walking is free. Clearly did not know the area as it mostly mud underneath the bridge tide does not come in very often.

People wheeling bodies about in suitcases in the public eye isn't unheard of nor using taxis to get from a to b. What is unusual is to take it, to probably throw over the bridge, in daylight is. I first thought he might be in the middle of a psychotic episode but if there were 2 of them involved that gives me doubts. A large percentage of murder victims are involved in criminal behaviour and drugs are usually the starting point. Since the police know where he started from, have his possible place of birth and a large amount of fingerprints and a cracker of a photo I imagine it won't be too long until he's caught. If he's still in Britain that is. Also, if there's blood seepage I'd assume there's dismemberment.

I think the guy describing it had a slight American twang (he also said “sem- eye” rather than the English pronunciation of semi), so it’s likely he wasn’t thinking as he said it as was used to using that term.
