Join me for an afternoon of bluegill and crappie fishing. I use a light action rod loaded with 4-pound mono and catch dinner using red worms. Thanks for watching!

Nice to see you back out and hooking up! 10.5 is a nice crappie and kept it busy with some bluegills.

I'm loving the new camera angles. Your Rear Camera is as good as it gets. Some guys mount them too high but, in my opinion, yours is just right. I love that it has no wobble. I'm thinking about eliminating my chest angle and going to something exactly like yours. The word you were looking for when talking about the lower angle was not "Flattering", I believe. 😂. Heck, I'm thin and even I get the ol' double chin when the angle is too low. Congrats on your Mickey D's "Sponsorship" 😂 I'm glad you found Jesus Christ later in your life, Matt. I'm far from perfect but it's great knowing that doesn't matter because of our faith. Second gill was a tank! Great video, Matt!

Flattering, yes! Haha, thank you. I like that back camera reachable in case it starts to rain. I have them all on external battery sources so they aren't waterproof. Thanks for your comment and amen!

1:16 lol. I was thinking of trying braid this year!

Don't get me wrong, I love braid. I just can't stand tying so many leaders, haha.

I know exactly what you’re saying. I’m switching to mono this year also. For the same reason, I get tired of trying to tie braid to mono leaders and I can’t see good enough and it takes forever and then they break off.

Were you using red worms or wax worms? And where did you get that soft fish basket? Every time I’ve used a fish basket when kayak fishing the turtles attack the basket when sitting still! God bless.
@outdoorsforachange3 ай бұрын
Yeah, I have to be on the alert of turtles for sure. Usually, I keep a dry bag full of ice and toss the fish into it. I was using red worms. Today, they wanted nothing to do with the worms and bit Gulp! Minnows instead.

I don't have a single spool of mono for anything except catfishing. And I never catch catfish.

Ha, yeah, normally I catch them with lures. They must be hungry!
