What a heartwarming story. The DNR should do more stories like this to help shed the stigma of just being the hunter's tyrant. To many people I know have had a bad experience with an overzealous CO. This will help change the narrative.

Beautiful story, and I’m glad he made a full recovery! Wish they would’ve shown the surgeon or at last mentioned his name, sounds like he fought against the odds on the operating table. Great job all around.

So someone has zero compassion, nor empathy, can take an innocent life who wants to live as much as he does, solely for pleasure/profit and people are glad he's still ok?

Does it hurt when you think, or, do you just think it hurts, kind of a nut case, huh..??
