This is exactly why I have been watching your videos for years now. I am about the same size as you. I was so tired of seeing some 125 pound squirrel of a guy reviewing saddle hunting stuff. You put it to the test real world and tell the truth. I appreciate your opinions. The song was a bit funny by the way.

First of all, we love the song!! Secondly, we REALLY appreciate the honest feedback - it's the only way we can get better! For what it's worth, we are working on adapters for the carabiner slot to eliminate any wear from happening (mainly so oval carabiners can also be used with The Bridge Buddy). We have made mention of the wear in on our website (we address this on the bridge buddy page, under FAQs.) The integrity of your Bridge Buddy will remain intact after the initial wear period. The size of your carabiner gate really dictates how much wear results. For instance, a Petzl "William" carabiner is what I currently use, and will show virtually no signs of external wear on the carabiner slot, and smaller gate biners are going to show more wear, with oval shaped biners showing the most. We recommend avoiding the use of oval carabiners with The Bridge Buddy. Also, The Bridge Buddy is made and assembled right here in Wisconsin! Thanks again for your video and congratulations on the success of your page! Hope to hear from you soon.

For what it has to do, it seems to me they could simply replace the bearings with Delrin bushings. It would then be quiet, cheaper, and work just as well. Also a Delrin sleeve inside the hole would eliminate wear on the carabiner.

Over the years of using various little metal gadgets in my hunting gear I’ve learned you can mitigate clinking? sounds by coating parts with the “ liquid electrical line” repair paint. It’s a rubberized type product. Kinda pricey lately for a small 4 ounce bottle. Works really well.

Interesting. I'd give it a try. When I posted a question regarding a PETZL biner that has a built in roller, the feedback I received on Mobile Hunter was the friction between the bridge and biner was critical to a stable shot and a roller would allow too much movement.

I think it's a nice looking little attachment, I just don't really see the necessity. Like you were talking about, I can just adjust my bridge length, put a spacer bar in my bridge. The price point isn't bad. All the wear is caribbeaner contact point?

I think a good quality saddle thats sized appropriately should only give a tiny bit of hip pinch if any. When I first got my saddle I had zero issues, but then I gained about 25lbs and noticed a bunch of pinching. So I changed my eating and lost 35lbs and now Im back to zero pinch. I think some of us need to be honest and ask am I forcing my self into a saddle thats too small.

First off, I love your personality. You are honest with your reviews too. But this is just too. Much. Crap. In. Your. Setup. I’ve been saddle hunting for 6 years and Hip pinch doesn’t exist with a properly fit and adjusted, quality saddle. If we’re trying to be sleek and mobile we don’t need extra single-purpose overpriced crap in our setups. Keep doing what you’re doing but definitely a dumb product if you have a well-fit system already. Song was dope though. You’re the man.

@ I hear great things about the TX5 saddles. I’m fortunate enough to have a last-gen AeroHunter Kestrel which hunts like a luxury minivan, but one day I’ll have to replace it and I’m dreading that day.
