@@neilwiggins2839 But these kids - like all kids - are too young to know that.They feel they have all the time in the world and can move and transfer as often as they like - until, that is, they can't transfer anymore, their skills don't take them to the heights they once thought possible - and they find they've run out of eligibility. Wait ! This was supposed to last forever, wasn't it ? No - read the fine print : until academic or athletic eligibility expires.

I want to say thank you to Kirk Campbell I didn't hold him responsible for the failure of the offense I think he did his best under the circumstances I wish him and his family the best as hope he gets another chance at another school.

As a former player, I understand the work and dedication Kirk Campbell put into the program so i respectfully say Thank You 🙏 sir! It was the most frustrating year to see our offense every Saturday but im sure there are MANY things we are privy to that contributed to this poor performance.

This Michigan team is a 2-3 loss playoff bubble team with an offense that's ranked 40-60th. The defense played lights out all things considered. The defense spent too much time on the field because of the offensive ineptitude.

Quick note on the X Poll Question results... Just because Oregon won decisively in that poll, doesn't say ANYTHING about how close the 2 teams are/how close the game may be. There is no point spread in your poll. It only means that the large majority of fans think Oregon is favored, which they are.

Perhaps the biggest by-product of Michigan's upset win over OSU is it cemented Sherrone Moore as U-M's Head Coach for the long term. He definitely can beat elite teams. He definitely can pull in elite recruits. He is NOT riding Harbaugh's coattails.

To be honest, was there a UM 2024 season ? I was there and watched, but then I wasn't there or really watching, know what I mean ? I guess I was still thinking about '23 - like alot of Michigan fans. I did the same back in '98 -'9 after the '97 nat'l title. What did Bill Freehan say about winning the '68 World Series with the Tigers : 'once you taste the sweetness of championship success, nothing less satisfies ... ' Although last Saturday's result in Columbus was a suprise and delight, a nice coda, a pleasant enough stardust trail from previous seasons. Akin to a Dan Carbonera light jingle, whenever Don or Bette Draper would reappear in a scene in later seasons of Mad Men ... a small, tender intimation of what once was ... and what has already passed. Now they belong to the legends ... 😢

I think he got stuck on winning the rushing battle… if you win it he rushing battle, supposedly, you win the game. I also think OSU’s oline was getting manhandled… not enough time to let routes develop and QB to scan the field. After that second interception, he played ultra conservative. He coached not to lose… Go Blue.

The worst Michigan team in 15 years would not have beaten USC and it's rivals so this team was just put in a bad position of not having real time to get the QB room good. Lost lots of players and coaches but they were by far not the worst team. This defense had it been dialed in properly all season and had just a tad more rest in-between possessions I think they probably pull off one or two more wins. With a good QB they probably win ten. So I'd say hoke and rich rod and the 2020 teams still hold the worst team ever status in no real particular order. I just can't do this 2024 team like that because they honestly won the most important games aside from Texas and Oregon. This was a tough schedule to for a rebuild season

Exactly, that narrative is complete trash. 15 years takes us back to 2009. Rodriguez and Hoke both had 5-7 seasons. The Hoke year we got destroyed by Notre Dame, MSU, and OSU. Those ND and MSU teams were nothing close to Oregon and Texas. It’s just some type of weird narrative against Sherrone. Also, even though the QB’s were not good back then, they were nothing close to as bad as the situation was this year. Moore winning 7 games with that QB room is shows great coaching and nobody wants to talk about it. They’ll try to blame him for that too, but he was put in a situation where by the time he was hired the top 20 transfer QB’s were gone. The guys still out there wouldn’t have been much better than what we had, lol.
