19:55 Ask the guys from BavarianSimTec to show their Omega Pro V2! So impressive regarding electronics. The wheel reads the telemetry and the LEDs surrounding the rotaries light the number of mode you are currently in. Different backlight colors indicate different general settings (wet/dry). And their rotary has 12 positions I think, but when the car has only 10 modes, mode 11 and 12 are not backlit. And if you setup the car to start in mode 3, this is not overruled by the rotary like other steering wheels do (when left on any other position). I would never need all this, as I drive in VR anyway. But it blows my mind to see what's possible. I like their grips and ergonomics very much, too. Very light wheel despite beeing aluminium body.

to be fair it's pretty basic electronically. what is impressive is that they took the time to create profiles for hundreds, if not thousands of cars that accomodate that. the rotaries are not mapped dynamically by the telemetry but rather the wheel was programmed that a certain car in a certain game has x TC modes for dry and y TC modes for wet weather.

I have a had a look at theirs but I have not spoken to the guys. However, if you head over to @kireth on youtube you may see my opinion on these :) - personally they look a bit too fancy glowing, although I assume they have set all RGB lihgts to fancy the people at the expo.

10:28 3 projector setup like mine except for cockpit. Did you try it? Problem is that to get front wheel only view in AC you need pro version which is only for commercial use. It used to be 2200$.

Found new gloves today at the booth of VPG/Novus/MME - the brand is called Syncmesh. They also have outer stitching and I just ordered my pair of gloves. I tried gloves from Syncmesh, SRS, GSI and GCOM360 (SRG1). SRG1 gloves don't have enough silicone pad surface for my taste. But none of the gloves I tried were really bad. Syncmesh just fit my taste best. But if I will really like them, will show after I raced 10 hours or so...

@@MichiHoyer Exactly, booth G 2-3 with sequential shifter. Ask for the guy responsible for the gloves and he will be happy to show you the available sizes. The inner surface seems a little thicker than other's, if that's good for you is up to personal preference.

@@MichiHoyer ich glaube, das war ein Formula Student. Beim Asetek Stand neben dem LMP3. Meine erste Direct Drive Erfahrung. Sehr interessant und ungewohnt, aber geil. Bin noch mit einem T300 unterwegs. Sim Racing kann ein teures Hobby sein. Aber nächstes Jahr gerne wieder. Ich hoffe, dass es mit LMU weitergeht.

I hear you a lot mate. However, I havent had sufficient time to check out all the booths upfront too much. Hence I kinda went through and went for the things that caught my attention. I actually missed showing the Thrustmaster booth where they showed their 2nd gen Direct Drive wheelbase. Think Interviews might be something for the future, as I am not feeling too comfortable with all that as I understand my own knowledge about "all" the equipment to be limited still. However, I might have a few more close ups from the booths in edited videos in the end. lets see

No they were not. Peugeot / P1Sim are showcasing LMU with their D-Box motion experience centre. But LMU themselves were not around sadly.
