The crazy thing is that in the 21st century the top religions "God" acts just like any common King/Dictator of the past of the present - demanding obedience & loyalty(belief) & rewarding accordingly - all believers get heaven, all unbelievers get hell Not one educated asks - so these religions were born when Kings/Dictators ruled, is it not clear that they made God using them as Templates? And saying ALL unbelievers get hell is that not collective condemnation based on belief? Is that not what happened to Jews under the Nazis? Who they were as people did not matter, what they did in life did not matter - even Einstein, if he had not fled would have ended up in gas chambers! And this is how "God" operates? Like a Hitler? Yet amazingly not one educated person can figure this out!
@deaddocreallydeaddoc52443 жыл бұрын
The problem is that there is still no evidence of a composer. The use of that idea is only Katku's reliance on Einstien's idea when we know that Einstein did not actually believe in God. It is a way to communicate to non-physicists using a metaphor. This has been discussed in regard to the title "The God Equation," but believers jump in, of course, and insert a magic cause using this "relaxation" of terms.

The other day I was in a restaurant with my wife and I saw at the table next to us was a young father with his very young daughter, who was about four years old. And it was very apparent that the little girl could hardly sit still as she was full of energy and life and she wanted to play and have fun. She was putting a tiny effort into eating as she was probably hungry, but her spirit was in a tug of war of sorts with herself between wanting to play and needing to eat. Her loving father understand this dilemma his little daughter was having and he knew that she would get to play later but this time was set aside for eating and fun time would have to wait. But his love for her helped her to do what was needed (eating) so to help her he set up his phone with a child’s movie (Puppy Pals) for her to watch and distract her enough to allow her to eat and at the same time, be entertained. So if you look at the father in this example as God, and as his little daughter as us, the beings inside these human bodies who want to explore and have fun. Then our father put this (movie) the universe, in front of us so that we could be entertained and we are enjoying the movie so much and it seems so real to us but in actuality, is just a movie that we are watching while we eat our food and grow, hopefully to get older and wiser at some time in the future. That’s all that this is. An illusion but a very loving and very entertaining and persistent illusion. And the moral to the story, our whole existence, is simply love. A love which our father gives to us because he loves us and wants us to feel and experience that, while we grow up. That is the theory of everything.

The unity amongst the cosmos, the order of nature; the invisible qualities that birth the visible bodies. Acknowledging the hymn of life, the music of nature. The poetry of being; the same rhythm is of the cosmos. This is all incredible. Nothing is by mere chance, luck or mistake. I can't wait, so I am, instead, present in the present moment, thoroughly excited for what's next; for what's to come next is effected from that what was, as I'm thrilled because of what was, what will be, will be Great -- can't wait!

@@johns6704 If you truly have an open mind, then you should use it to consider the character of your torture loving god. What kind of god punishes the children and grandchildren, etc for the sin of the parents? Do you really believe that others should pay for the sin of someone else? Numbers 14:18. '...he punishes the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation.’ The majority of his creation will suffer for eternity and most of them never even get a chance to decide to reject or accept him as lord and savior, simply because they were born in the wrong place at the wrong time. And it's not a fair choice for those few that actually get to decide anyway. If I gave you the option of becoming an atheist or suffering for eternity and claim it's fair because I gave you the option to decide, would you really consider that as free will to decide your fate? Belief is a consequence of being convinced by the evidence and is not a choice.

@butch oblick That's not what Nobel Prizes are awarded for. He's actually best known at this point for completing screwing up his attempt to explain what the Higgs Boson is for CBS news (profmattstrassler.com/2013/03/19/why-professor-kaku-why/). He's basically just selling books these days. His original claim to fame was as one of the co-founders of string field theory ( _not_ string theory itself as many erroneously assert), but string theory is a theory that has fallen into disfavor because of its being largely untestable.

@@historyguy8353 No informed person thinks Michio Kaku is Nobel Prize worthy. What would it be for? He isn't responsible for any major breakthroughs and his most significant achievements were decades ago. He's been focused on being a science communicator for most of the past few decades, and has a reputation for frequently engaging in hyperbole for entertainment value. The most notorious example of this was when CBS news asked him to explain the Higgs Boson for the public, and he infamously said it caused the Big Bang. He was widely panned for it because either he knew this wasn't the case and misrepresented the facts for the purpose of titillating the audience, or worse, he really didn't know what the Higgs Boson was. His reputation never really recovered from that. But it's not the only time he's done something like that. He always sensationalizes and exaggerates things for entertainment value.

@@b.g.5869 I certainly agree for all the things you've said. But Dr. Michio Kaku was the one who formulated the inch long equation for the string theory. As you know, string theory is one of the candidates for the Quantum Gravity Theory. So, if string theory will be proven correct in the next few decades or centuries ; Michio Kaku will be one of the greatest physicist lived in our era. Though I know that the whole theory cannot be credited to him but its mathematical interpretations can be.

At university, we had a running gag: in at least 3 (maybe 5?) lectures, I saw different approaches motivated from this theory to solve one problem: the Dirichlet problem (with a Laplacian condition). This is what I'm reminded of whenever someone talks about universal equations. Sure: all the solutions agree, however, the derivations and the involved formulae and arguments are very distinct.
