There are really two sides to mars: The rockstar legend and the humble, seemingly down to earth, human being.

I always thought that Mick Mars was the root member of Mötley Crüe and I think that to a certain extent this proves that out. These are great tunes; not Mötley Crüe tunes (as Mick called them "hook tunes") but better than a whole lot of what I'm hearing these days. Could any of the other members release anything even comparable? I think not. I know it's not all Mick but it's impressive, and it's the first album that I've been inspired to buy in a long time.

Mick was the only one that had real talent in MC in my opinion and made them what they were. But I never really cared for their style of hair metal. Except for a hand full of good songs. Very good interview.
