Disneys new strategy is if the area in park doesn’t generate revenue its going to be replaced. Rides that don’t sell lightening lanes or worse attractions that take guests from rides that sell lightning lanes will be removed.

So BIG Thunder Mountain will be closed while they start to close TSI and Rivers of America to start the new attraction for that area. And all the while we wait for them to announce the closing of the railroad again for several years for the expansion of the the whole back corner of the park.

The waterpark day is a nice perk that more people should take advantage of. We did a waterpark day on our arrival. It was empty. No waits for anything. Not too tiring after a day of travel like the parks might be.

I think Disney is going to be surprised by how many people will plan that into their trip. Drop your luggage off and have a backpack with swimsuits and head to waterpark. Something to do until room is ready.

While I understand the financial benefit of selling alcohol in the parks, it has detracted from the enjoyment of the parks as a family destination. I wish Disney would return to what made it so special. That being outstanding customer service, creativity, attention to details and G-rated fun.

Here it is. 2025. A few new lounges, a bunch of rides closed, Test Track thanks to General Motors will reopen version 3.0, a nighttime parade. That’s about it. Universal is opening a highly themed gigantic theme park. This is Disney’s response.

I'm most bummed about it's tough to be a bug and Dinosaur operating for the last time this year, and IMO, they should move this Zootopia show to Epcot where Awesome Planet is! Also, make sure you enjoy Muppet Vision 3-D and Rock n Roller Coaster as they currently are, because who knows how much time we have with them this year! I'm even more bummed about these 2, I mean who isn't?!

Why is Zootopia in the Tree of Life????? Zootopia is a giant metropolitan city in the movie. I don't think it's a good idea to do this. Like that famous Louisiana mountain the Tiana ride is. I'm sure they will have a story reason for it, but it will be a stretch and won't really feel like the movie.

I would not recommend Disney water parks to out of town resort guests as they are over run by local kids because the annual pass for them is dirt cheap and more of a locals hang out. It’s packed.
