Although I have seen most of it before in parts, this compilation was a real Christmas gift; so serene and humble, it really gave me an hour of meditation. Looking in to an area unknown to me was amazing. Gotta go to some of these places one day. Thanks for opening my eyes. Again.

OUTSTANDING!!! You bring us so close to what we did so many years ago; Gaziantep - WOW; we loved being there and going into and through the mosaic museum - Sanliurfa - another of our favorite places, thank you so much for the refreshing tour. We wonder how much damage occurred to those wonderful communities - knowing the earthquake really did a number on so many of the places we used to walk!

Good Morning Mick & Trudie, may I say thank you for one of my all time favourite videos, the part about the Dam and the loss of the historical places, peoples livelihoods & nature is heart breaking! I loved the Abraham Monastary & the Hotel that you stayed at for £60 a night, also as a practising Muslim Mardin & Eartha look perfect places to visit, also as we don't drink drink the places are perfect for us. I can not stress how wonderful & interesting the Museums at Chandlere Ur look, also the historical places of Gobeklitepe, the Zeugma Mosaic Museum, Nemrut & the Septimus Serverus Bridge truly look so amazing & definitely worth visiting, although during the summer time. May I say that the section about Halfeti was so sweet as the romance and the Love shown between Trudie & yourself on the boat ride was so special. Now as I am proud to be British & accepting of all beliefs, my Hero Dave Allen once said "May Your God Go With You" & for that reason I also Loved The Monastery Of The Virgin Mary as that was the icing on the cake for me too & so once again thank you for probably the best video you have made.💗💗💗

@@mickandtrudieTurkish people are so good because even they allowed kurdish people to immigrate to Turkiye from iran kordistan, iraq and syria. Jewies are trying to create a history for kurds today, because of their promised lands projects. But it won't work on Turkiye because Turkish and kurdish people are aware of the truth. Not like iran you can tell stories based on imagination.

I can recall travelling around SE Turkey some 20-30 years ago. So different from what it appears nowadays. We stayed in a town called Batman. If memory serves me correctly the locality was predominantly Kurdish and didn’t reflect Turkish way of life at all. Still a friendly place we returned a couple of times when looking for a stopover. The borders were less organised back then and not as relaxed. A great episode. Can see the time and effort invested in this instalment. Let’s hoping for many more.

(Not: Zeugma müzesinde mozaiklere dokunmak yasak, size ayrıcalık yapmışlar)

Like how basic medical knowledge used to be communicated and possibly more effective. Don't eat too much chocolate or you will get big stomach and have difficulty sleeping. Simple yet effective advice from the candy shop man. The way he said it was caring and didnt care if he sold less candy. He actaully told Mick no too much. I understand we have Google translate but learn a foreign language and fall more in love with the people.
