You need another crappie and catfish! Speckled trout probably can’t handle the cold of your pond anyway and i know your fish will be happier with company.

This weather change use jigs and go up the causeway and look for birds for schooling trout in the Spanish river by grand bay if the shrimp are in the grass already. They also hang in the deep pockets, like the one by blue gill grill next to the weird hut bar off the highway in about 15 ft. Arkansas shiner or the baby bass is usually the go to color
@BackStreetBoys0014 жыл бұрын
Best chance to find schooling white trout though is jigging the deep pockets in mobile river by the docks in 20-30ft

Love the idea! Keep trying. A 16” slot red would be ideal; very hardy, freshwater-tolerant fish. A white trout would be too delicate and difficult to keep alive. Or maybe some dead shrimp on a little hook and get a little black drum, piggy perch (pinfish) or maybe a croaker. Any of those would make an interesting "different" pet.
