I did the same 14”conversion on my 2511. Never looked back. Substantially better!

I run 1/4 pitch chain on my Top Handles, which is fast. I do like the Oregon bars so I might give .325 a go.

Im about to port my 3400 for function. Just raise the exhaust a little and add a little compression(BG delete), and some transfer flow work. These little top handles should be built for speed because of purpose. I did my little craftsman 2.0 and for a little nimble saw its a beast( runs an 18 if I get bored).

I might add a sheet of pegboard on the wall behind the bench. Gives you a lot of options to hang stuff easily.

I am not sure they have a kit assembled yet. The bars for the 2511T are the same and I bet they get the clutch up on the saw suppliers page before too long. Would be nice to have a package deal. They will likely see this comment so thank you for sharing!

Both of those are available with narrow kerf from Echo. I would never recommend buying the 3/8 .050 version of these and only buy the .325 .043 version.
