Micro Rotor Buren Starline Slender Caliber 1006 Service

Today we serviced this Buren Starlite Slender which has micro rotor caliber 1006. Same caliber was also used by Hamilton in some of their thinline watches. Watch was running but it had low power reserve which was addressed by servicing of the movement.
Bezel was glued on top which was rectified as well. Its cannon pinion was also lose which was causing the watch to lose time. We tightened the cannon pinion very carefully and it was keeping time fine.

Did you replace the mainspring?

We had to use the existing one. We were unable to find its original two piece spring. We’ll keep looking for it and it will be replaced in future.
