Cut off the zerk, drill it out and replace it. These kind of things make me want to find the engineer that designed it and throw a coffee in them. LOL...

Impressive work as always! Most people hand grind those tools on the bench grinder, seeing how much work goes into making this with a tool cutter grinder was awesome. Could you do something similar with carbide in the future?

Nice video! I have a D-bit grinder and I have done some small bars like these. There is no room for even a 3" chuck on that grinder, so for round boring bars, I use an eccentric bushing with a set screw in a larger collet. For square bars, I have some larger (up to 3/4") 5C square collets and mill up a spacer block for the offset, sometimes with a set screw or some packing as well for insurance. It was interesting to see how you approached making these!

Would've used a needle adapter. Yours appears more precise though.
