Alexis, gurl I’ve been waiting for your update. I loved your locs Thanksgiving 2022 & they are just as beautiful but I know you have to look in the mirror & love what you see. It’s just nice to see how beautiful your locs have progressed.

You loc count & size is similar to mine! I am at the baby/ beginning stage!! In all of my crazy obsessive ness... I think the color/ dye sections of your beautiful locs changed the texture...so its just taking the colored sections longer to loc!!? But it really looks great, & you inspire me to keep going. I am only a few weeks out w/ some little baby mini...baby mircro...sis.locs...i had the debate what do we call them!? I decided any black woman, girl or young woman?? We have locs...so no matter the sz. I am calling them all "Sister Locs" ok...bc we are together in this beautiful self empowering journey for US!! ALL. THANK YOU Queen! Aww thank you so much for this sweet comment!! ♥️ My colored section definitely have a different texture but I plan on going to a professional to get them looked at and hopefully instant loc'd so that they match the black section. Have you thought about crocheting the copper portions? They may not loc because the hair can't really shed into it to create the loc since its interlocked above it. Thats why I chose comb coils over interlocking.

Yeah I def wanna go to a professional and have them instant loc or crochet my color sections bc they are maturing but slowly lolol

Hi Beautiful - Life is toooo short to be dissatisfied with something that YOU have 100% control over. I say comb your locs out and start over with the loc count and color of your preference - so you can be EXTRA HAPPY😘😘😘❤️ - New Subbie!💋

Thank you! 💕 & no I haven’t. I dust my hair quite often (clipping off loose hairs) but it doesn’t affect the length of my hair at all.
