I am so happy I found you. Your video truly helped me make a decision on micro- or sisterlocs. I also have fine low density hair and was concerned after my sisterloc consult. I too have fine low density hair and have been scared to death of looking like a plucked chicken. But this sis right here has given me so much hope. My installation is next week for microlocs. My hair grows very fast so hopefully I won't be quacking very long. Lol

I think my hair type is similar to yours and I ended up going with smaller traditional locs. I'm 9 months in and wondered if I should have done micros. I actually like how it looks now but I appreciate your videos for perspective.

I've placed #3pointrotation #reversepattern4locs and some #4pointrotationlocs due to maximum fullness and volume with 1/4 parts in the perimeter and crown with 5/16 locs in the crown and back. My grid follows the established patterns used by Tay Ladawn, Queen Eleem, Fenety, and Katya Sadmire along with Melissa Blake of London! Binding Mark's was helpful also!

My hair isn’t fine but my density is average and my hair is soft like yours… on top of having a small head lol. My locs are a lot bigger but my consultant swears I have sisterlocs. Ive got 176 as of now 🙄 I didn’t want them too small but I think I have microlocs and paid sisterloc pricing 😭

So I have 4c low density hair. I love your channel. I was researching 3 days before my appointment. I am definitely pinhead, no curls and itchy. But my hair is also low prosperity too. So there's THAT. She told me to keep them moisturizer and use fresh lemon water every other day to speed up the sealing. No regrets though. But the itching...😫😫😫 12 hours from first loc to last loc. Over 2 days

@@LocsSoFine interlocking method. I sprayed it today after the gym with a mixture of tea tree, peppermint oil, lavender and lemon oil and water directly on the scalp. No longer beating my head.

Do you recommend micro locs for someone who not only has fine hair, but THINNING hair as well? Due to health challenges, my hair has thinned significantly on the sides and crown. I don’t necessarily have low density hair. At least I wouldn’t if my hair hadn’t thinned because of my health. But a lot of my hair has fallen out and I can literally see though it at the top. Also, are micro locs ever perfectly STRAIGHT? I always see them curly to wavy. Is it possible for them to be bone straight?
