You did so well. I love the fact that they are so clean. I wish I had someone to install these micro locs for me, it will save me some money

First of all , I love your equipments starting from your ringlights. Furthermore, you have beautiful hairs and I am impressed how you could neatly section your hair without anybody's assistance

I enjoyed how you section the hair and how you used different tools at their appropriate places.

Ummm Ma'am 👌🏽🙌🏽👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿!!! diy microlocs & self retie. I sit right on my couch. I tried the crochet hook but it was too time consuming. I use a curved needle from Amazon. My retie takes about 2-3 days for 400ish locs. You did that!!!
@iamdanie_. Жыл бұрын
Same here. The crochet hook takes a bit more. I feel it's best if you're retightening for someone else but for myself the curved needle definitely makes me go faster. About 335 locs here.

This is such a smart way to do your own hair. I have to try this the next time I braid my hair.

What made you choose three point rotation? Contemplating how I’m going to initiate my own.
@naturalhy2769 Жыл бұрын
More volume. I have fine strands and I love the full and fluffy look
@vettej6530 Жыл бұрын
Great job! How did you pick which rotation to use? Which method benefited your hair the most? I want to start my own reties but, want to choose 2 pt. It seems simpler for me as a beginner. Any advice?
@naturalhy2769 Жыл бұрын
Hi! I went with the rotation that was started by my loctitian. She said it creates volume for fine hair

Your locs are so gorgeous! And that’s great you are able to retwist them yourself. Definitely saves on money! But I would assume it is time consuming. How long does it take to do this?

Do you twists your new growth before retieing your hair... Im nee into my loc journey and i find myself doing that... I did my own locs and i tried realky hard to get a good amount of small locks but i think i got about 150 micros in my head... The parting was the hardest part for me...
@naturalhy2769 Жыл бұрын
Hi! Yes I occasionally have to grab the excess hair before retie

I’m sure this saves you a lot of money I can’t imagine how much a saloon will charge for this.
