I've been away from databases for a few years and your series has been a god-send. I just wish I had someone like you teaching me years ago instead of just being made to watch over a shoulder and expected to understand everything all at once. Your lessons are easy to follow and I cannot thank you enough. You answer all my questions and the nice part is that I can go back and re-play something if I am not sure that I understood it without holding other people back. I am going to be working with a very large amount of data and with your help, I am not at all scared of it. In fact, I'm looking forward to it!

I received a Microsoft Access Assignment from my tutor and he gave us limited information. I was all stressed out and I found your videos online. I completed the whole assignment by watching all 12 videos. You are awesome and thank you for doing this. I will definitely keep watching your videos to better myself.

I had exactly the same experience - was so stressed out because information on my online course was very incomplete, and confusing. These 12 videos were a lifesaver - I was able to breeze through all my assignments after first watching your videos! they were a lifesaver!!

I have always tried to enroll at a college in my area for non-credit classes for Microsoft Access, Excel, etc to make myself a better person and employable. Then one day, my search online got me to your kingdom. Thank you sooooooooooo much! I don't know how much to thank you for now. Surely one day at the appropriate time, I will come back again to thank you. May Jehovah God richly bless you and your efforts to help millions. Cobbina

I've learned how to use images in reports from you - thank you. I have a problem with images displaying horizontally rather than vertically - the image seems to be anchored to the way the photo was taken - portrait or landscape. Can I change this orientation in access 2013?
@599CD9 жыл бұрын
Pat Frost Not that I'm aware of. You'll have to use a photo editor and rotate it manually.

If I print only three labels, I use the database and use the merge feature with word. There I can move things around so I use labels to fit into a label sheet (let's say you only have 3 blank labels on a full sheet). I am sure you know hot to do it. Question, do you know how to add a directory with a map? I seen this one that you click on map and it actually open the internet and shows you a live map.

Thanks for the free tutorials. I´ve enjoyed them. With access, is there a way to look up a specific customer´s account, order, etc? I'm talking about some sort of a search bar where you can type in the first and or last name to bring up the purchases/orders made by a specific customer.

I am going through this and building the list along with you. I have access 2007, and for some reason when I go to make the report. In the layout view the notes column is holding up condensing the row, it wants to show every thing typed. What can I do to prevent this?
@599CD3 жыл бұрын
Don't use Layout View. I hate it. Stick to Design View.

I do have a question regarding your labels - Once you created your labels save it what happened if you have more clients- do you have to create every time a new label report or it's automatically updating from the query / table. I am a small home business - even though I don't need to create a report like the way you show, it's still very interesting for me to create label which is necessary. Thank you

I hope I'm not really late and never get a response.. My issue creating labels is, that my page size is 4x6. Was that a mistake from the beginning when I created the table or the report. I am unable to change and save the size. When I'm done making the labels it states that my info wont fit horizontally on my page and that I should change the columns. After this I get the option to change the size but my labels save automatically on the 4x6, and when I change the size it doesn't apply to my labels. Is there a way to change this or do I have to save the size I want before I begin? If so How do I do so?

Awesome videos! Question. Do you need to pay $1 for each level?
@599CD11 жыл бұрын
This whole series is considered Level 1. Level 2 is another hour-long set of videos and that is $1 if you use the special link above. Beyond that, you can also get the rest of the levels for 50% off. The beginner levels normally start at $9.99, so you can get an HOUR-long class for just $5.
